CHAPTER XVI

Blair

When Blair reached home, he was dripping wet with not only water but also blood. Daniel and Lydia were waiting patently in the sitting room when he staggered in.

"Oh my God!" Lydia exclaimed rushing to his son.

"What the hell has happened to you?" Daniel asked with a frown.

His shirt was covered in blood, a broken nose and a bruised face. He didn't want to talk about anything with anyone at the moment.

"Was it that damn poor girl who did this to you?" Lydia growled. Blair glared in return.

"Was it his brothers goddamn it? We are going to press charges against those good for nothings." she continued ad she helped Daniel carry him to the couch.

Daniel rushed to get the first aid box while Blair lay there helpless wincing simultaneously.

"This is too much. I am calling the police." Lydia groaned standing up.

Before she could walk away, Blair immediately gripped her arm.

"It wasn't her fault mom. Levon and her family are innocent." Blair murmured painfully.

"Are they?" Lydia scowled
