Special stood looking sullenly at Abel who was crying real hard.
She squat to her level and patted her back soothingly, she couldn't think of better words to say. she gat a job to do and not to pet some human girl.
she thought of a plan and giggled when she got one.
Abel heard her giggle and started at her to know what was amusing.
"Why are you crying over a horse. it's just a horse, you shouldn't be crying over it, special said and earned a bad stare from Abel.
"Right? she shrugged and continued. Look am from a very rich home and my father has a lot of horses, I can give you one if you like, just stop crying okay.she offered starring at her swollen eyes due to how hard she was crying.
Abel gawped at her taken abacked. she was too overwhelmed about the whole Jeiel accident to even think about her offer.
On a normal day she would have been so happy to receive such offer but this was no ordinary horse. there's a human soul inside it.
Her Jeiel was inside it.
"Abel.. you're not saying anything, you don't like my offer? Special pressed knowing it was impossible for her to ever accept it but she could still give it a try to know how much she love him. Okay I will double it for you, she beamed.
Abel stared at her angrily and screamed ferociously. "What makes you think I will ever take your offer huh?
"He's more than a horse and he means so much to me.. so much... she paused and stared out tears. so much that you could ever imagine, she smiled and went further.
"To me he is family, he's the only person that has made me rethink committing suicide, I love him so much, so much....., she broke down in tears and resumed calling his name, listing out reasons why he shouldn't leave her behind.
Special stared at her amused. she's never seen such a caring human, she is like him but nobody cares. How much she badly needed someone like her in her life.
Hmph, she heaved and relaxed her chin on her palm.
"Hey, why don't you sprinkle him some water, she suggested and Abel nodded and stood up to leave but something crossed her mind and she stopped.
"Let's go together. you don't look so good, you need a bath, she told her and Special shrugged and left with her.
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-
Special had taken her bath already and was putting on her clothes. Abel was sitting on a rock close to the river starring admiringly at Special. She couldn't help but gwak at her blemishing skin.
"Why are you gawping at me lady? Special asked when they locked eyes.
Immediately she stared away and said afterwards. "I was wondering.. she paused playing with her leather of water.
"Go on, special nudged her and she stop to stare at her.
"Nevermind. I have gotten my answers already, wanted to ask why your skin is so soft and golden yellow, she chuckled. You must be living life to the fullest. you have maids at your Berks at call. Hmm.. oh how I love that life, she beamed starring dreamingly at her.
"Oh really? she scoffed. You're such a nut case, let's get out of here.
Abel stood up from the rock and they started up to the fields. Something in her kept urging her to tell Special about it after all she's a stranger so it could be of no harm to her.
"You know the horse... it's human, Abel revealed and Special coughed.
She needed to act up so she won't notice a thing.
"Are you high on something? How can a horse be human, that's ridiculous, she acted surprised maintaining a straight face.
"Yeah, she nodded.
They were now close to the field where they had left Jeiel and Abel thought it could be good she told her everything.
"I had met it on the battle field where my dad was killed by the wizard kingdom. He sat like a loner and stared at me from the corner of his eyes, I walked past him picked out a tree and attempted murder. That was when he spoked to me, she sniffed and looked at her nails.
"What did he say? Special asked interestedly.
"He asked me to kill him before trying to kill myself and I had ran out of fear, she chuckled. And then I knew i never wanted to die, why would I run away if I ever wanted to die, she sniffed and her sniffs later turned to tears.
Special walk up to her and hugged her.
"Oh c'mon Abel, you're such a cry baby, she patted her back.
"How... how do you know my name? Abel asked.
"You..... told me, she stuttered.
"No I didn't. I can't rem..
"He's awake! your Jeiel is awake. Woah! she screamed twitchgyly.
"Are you a witch? Abel asked all of a sudden pointing fingers at her.
"Why am I asking. you're a witch! she shouted with her eyes gleaming danger.
"Am not, she said innocently and tried walking away.
"Admit it, you're a witch.she shouted grabbing her hand at the process.
"You swept me away with some mighty force I couldn't withstand and then the scar, she said with her eyes popped out not letting go of her hand.
"The scar?
"Yes. right there on your arm...
Special checked her arm and it was there. she was so surprised, how come she never knew about it.
She stared at Abel then the arm to be sure she wasn't imaginary things. she should have noticed right?
Heavens! it was on her right arm and there seems to be bare.
She swallowed and stared at Abel confused.
"What's wrong with me having a scar?
"Alot is wrong with you having a scar, she snarled. especially having that x symbol.
"I don't... what do you mean? Special raised questioning brows at her.
"You having that scar only means one thing.. it means you're a witch.., she stopped and shot her a glare.
"You're a witch but how come you have elf's ears?
"Just get away from us, she snarled pulling out her sword, her voice filled with coldness and venom.
Special gave out a nonchalant look and with a weird smile she walked out of her and went to Jeiel who was now conscious.
"Jeiel. she called trying to touch him but it moved backward.
"I am Special from the underworld and am here to give that which you yearns for, she whispered grinning widely at him.
"Now I want you to be good to me because I am your saviour and am here to help you, okay, she fluttered her eyes at him.
She closed her eyes and focused her mind on Jeiel. She watched the tiny memories of Jeiel and clicked past them like her gallery.
Roaming through his head she saw an image of Jeiel and a girl so in love. it caught her attention and she paused to view it and immediately her vision got blurred.
What's happening.
She panicked and shot her eyes open only to find out Jeiel was gone.
"Arghhhhhh!!
Why does she always gets on her nerves.
That Abel girl is just so fustrating, she clenched her fist and screamed.
Why won't he say something, can't he suddenly make use of his mouth, c'mon Lucien tell me. She growled inwardly, staring anxiously at him.Has something gone wrong?"Maria needs the heart of a wizard, she's suffering from an ailment." He said feebly."And Andrew?""He's on the lookout for one." He drew and she sighed heavily.Pushing her lips into her mouth, she swallowed, "there's a fresh wizard body in my room." She revealed and Lucien tilt his neck to look at her."What are we still waiting for, let's go get it." He rushed, hoping they would just get on their feets and move but with the pale face of Special he knew something was up. "What is troubling you?" He inquired and her shoulders dropped."I promised not to return to that palace, he mustn't see me, if he sees me something terrible will happen." She sa
Special appeared at the doorstep and placed her hand on the doorknob. Was she ready to do this? Why was she finding it so hard to go inside?Lucien had left her in a very painful way but then again they are the only people that knows her for who she is, they can't just ditch her over some mistakes she didn't make on purpose. If she were to leave, what reason would she provide to her annoying subconscious? She doesn't have feelings, how is she to feel any bad going to them.Maybe because she feels hate towards those that hurt her, it's true Lucien pricked a tiny hate from within her but he came to be that wizard that he enjoys working with. Too bad their business had to end early.Tired of battling with her subconscious she released her hold from the door and moved backward, she wasn't ready to face any refusal. She walked away climbing on a huge tree a few distance away from the house.
Abel ran into her room shutting the door behind her, she wasn't sure of what she had seen but her eyes weren't deceiving her either. She had seen an extremely tall figure sauntering into the walls, it wasn't the witches, was it? Heavens! She wasn't ready for all these battling questions coming in and out of her, she just wanted to be free from it all but seems that's definitely not gonna happen, she was sorta scared of leaving the four walls of the palace apparently she wasn't gonna step out for like ten days or so, pfft. Her hair is so whacked up already, she hasn't even gotten any time to brush, not to mention looking at the mirror, she fears she might dissolve into the air if Blair appears before her. Her eyes have gone puffy and swollen, enough bags to make them all heavy and blurry, she clearly hasn't gotten any sleep and to think it was midnight, crap! She needed to be close to somebody to overcome her
He walked angrily to the room and waited for her, suddenly she appeared, a grin plastered on her face. "How could I not know you were the one behind it, tell me do you feel better now?" "Much better." Special replied, tilting her head. The guard glared at her and huffed. "It's enough, you're doing more than we bargained for, the Queen was out of the deal, why put her in coma?" "Because you have a love interest, I am not human, you should be thankful I didn't do worse." "You're such a teaser, as much as I hate royalty I don't like death either so you should stop this madness." He sneered. "I stopped that couple of minutes ago." She said breezily and walked to the bed, "I think you should learn to mind your business you just made me look like a clown before the prince, you do know what he will be thinking right now." "That you're a magician, w
Author awaited the she-devils feedback. Weren't they able to track Blair and why haven't they bothered to come see him. He got up from his seat and punched the wall aggressively. He was tired of waiting, why won't they just get him Octavia and her stupid look-aike. He ran his fingers in his hair, his eyes fixed to the door, he was having hopes that they were on their way to him already. Hopefully, they were. The she-devils walked in and stood a distance away from him, he raised his head up and his eyes rested on them. "Why are you just coming and where is Octavia?" He asked, his eyes pinned on theirs. " We couldn't get her but we are still not gonna give up." Claire said and watched the dissatisfaction in Author's eyes. "We got something, there's something in Medusa." She further said and Author huffed. "By something.. do you mean the staff? We don't need it anywh
Prince Jeiel was having his meal when a knock came from the door, he stopped eating, perhaps waiting for the guard to walk in. Just when he wanted to continue another knock came. "Come in." He said and the door opened but nobody came in. He looked at it as nothing and continued eating, just then some noise started coming from his study room. He was just gonna have his meal and rest. He stood up tirelessly and was about to move when his food fell down messing up the floor. "Shit!" He cursed. His button got stuck with the table cloth. "Urghhhh!" He would call a maid to clean it later but now he needs to know what's making the noise in his study room. Twisting the door knob slowly he peeped inside but saw nothing, it was a harmless breeze coming from the window that was making the books flip. He pushed the door open and walked inside, heading straight to the window. Locking it, he bent down to pack the scrolls on the
