I only have one today, lovelies! Thank you so much for blessing my bonus daughter with your prayers and wishes. She is doing well and responding well to her therapy and is now back home, so we are all calmer now. ♡ And I am just getting back on track with writing. I never took a long pause/break in the middle of an ongoing book, so I hope the mindset and the flow are not affected. But hopefully, I'll be back on track soon! Don't be disappointed if there are no chapters tomorrow (but I will try, I have one that just needs more editing) , but I will make sure starting on Sunday, we will have regular daily updates again. Again, THANK YOU, lovelies! You're all amazing! P.S. We finished the month of August ranked first in Gems for New Books! Thank you so much! ♡
AEON. Tonight is a full moon. This would be my first full moon run with Alexa. But this was also her first full-moon run with her family. In fact, this would be her first run with other wolves, except for Thunder, so I knew why she was so agitated the whole day leading up to tonight. "Relax..." I rubbed my hands against the skin of her arms as I stood behind her. We were already inside the forest grounds and were just waiting for Adan to give his instructions before we could shift. Despite the cold weather, everyone was just in their shirts and shorts, ready to strip off at any time now. Only Jenny had a coat on her because Sebastian didn’t want their baby to be affected by the cold. This was Jenny’s first time in extremely cold weather, and Sebastian was being overly protective. Alexa was also cold, but I told her to let Serenity warm her up, and in no time, she was getting comfortable with the temperature. She’s a winter wolf - she could adapt well in this weather. "So…" Adan cl
AEON. The early morning, crisp, cold air was filling my lungs in a good way as I sat on the bleacher railings. My gaze was locked on Alexa. She was doing her morning sparring with a group of female warriors in the outdoor training grounds. Despite her wearing a light thermal training jacket and thighs that covered her whole body, she was still breathtaking to look at. She was like a pop of color in this cold place. Aside from her physical beauty, she was indeed a sight to see while in combat. Her skills had improved tremendously. She was moving around gracefully, and yet she was fast and flexible — something that must have run in her genes. And the attention given to her to perfect her skills was overwhelming. In no time, I was sure she would be better in combat than her Beta Female. I watched her wink at me before she positioned herself and made a 360-degree kick in the air as she started a new set of drills. She was beautiful in every sense, and the more I looked at her, the mo
ALEXA. The moment we entered the territory, my heart started thudding loudly, and I blamed it on the fact that I was nervous about meeting this pack again. I knew they didn’t have a choice but to accept me because their Alpha wanted them to. I just hoped they would not give me cold shoulders where Aeon could see it. I didn’t want Aeon to worry that his pack didn’t like me. He has many things to think about, and I didn’t want my presence to be an added problem for him. "Where are we heading?" I asked, my brows furrowing as my gaze trailed down the path we were driving down. I have never been in and out of the territory a lot, but on the occasions that I did, I always came in and came out at the same border exit. I already memorized the road leading to the pack house. Because at one point, I was planning to run away, so I knew what I was looking at now was not the same path I knew. "To the packhouse. Our home." Aeon winked at me as he squeezed my hand. "No. This is not the way to th
ALEXA. The night turned out better than I expected. If I was doubting that this pack would accept me, it was all gone by the time we were eating and drinking. The whole time, whether I was seated or standing next to Aeon, or on my own, our pack members would approach me and introduce themselves. Most were females and their pups. And I could see excitement and sincerity in their eyes — they were just as happy as I was. But despite that, my eyes were searching for someone. I had no idea how many times I let my gaze scan the grounds, looking for that one female that I knew sooner or later I had to face. But I didn’t find her. I’ve been itching to ask someone, but I hesitated because I didn’t want to sound insecure, but I guess I underestimated my Beta Female. She could read me. "She’s no longer here." Holly came and stood beside me, handing me a tall glass of Long Island iced tea as she sipped her own drink. "Thank you. What do you mean?" My forehead creased. I wasn’t sure if we were
AEON. "Are you not mad at me that I marked you without asking?" She inquired as I led us into our bedroom after our brief encounter in the corridor. "No," I answered, dropping her gently at the end of the bed. "I want this mark." I saw her eyes scan the room briefly before placing her gaze back on me. "Really? Why did you never ask me to mark you?" I smiled at her as I dropped to my knees in front of her, positioning myself in between her legs. "After everything I did to you, I wanted to be careful in asking you to do things for me. But I want this mark. I was just waiting for you to want to mark me." I clasped our hands together before placing them on my mouth, kissing all her knuckles. "If there’s anything in my body right now that I want, aside from my dick…" She giggled and shook her head. "Really now?" "This dick is important to make you happy, so yes.." I chuckled at my explanation before I continued. "...but seriously, this mark is like a trophy, a sign that I am lucky to
LADY KATARINA I let my gaze wander around my bedroom one last time. This place has been my solace, my fortress for the last 20 years of my life, and today, I am moving forward. I was finally moving into Lucas’ territory, and in a few days, I would be finally claimed by my Alpha. Our union would be held on the same day that Lucas and I would be named the Alpha and Luna of the Midnight Pack. This was something I was looking forward to. But I know that this was not a farewell to my own pack because, sooner or later, Lucas and I will step in as the Alpha and Alpha Luna of this pack, as Darvin had chosen to live his life as a regular wolf. A smile graced my lips as my mind reeled through everything that has happened in my life in the last six months. If I knew what was waiting for me at the end, I should have trusted the Goddess with my fate and just stayed still, waiting for Lucas to arrive on my doorstep. But instead, I tried to fight my way out of the Claiming, by trying to buy and
ALEXA. Aeon was busy for the whole day, and after I got bored of checking furniture and things we needed in the pack house online, I went up to our room and started rummaging through the luggage that I brought home with us. My mate told me that we would spend one day at Aspen City, a neutral ground where we would buy clothes and other personal items. Not that I needed more. Momma splurged on me and bought me clothes more than I needed. Although I didn’t want more, I was looking forward to that day in Aspen City with him. Growing up, I could never afford to buy anything. I grew up in an orphanage where I only got second-hand items that were given by the institution, and I couldn’t do anything but be satisfied with them. I had to live within my means, which meant I had to live with nothing most of the time - so I got used to it. Even after I turned eighteen and started working, I could never afford to splurge my hard-earned money on myself. I used it to pay for the little space I was
ALEXA. After I cleaned up the mess of clothing in our room, I headed downstairs and looked for Aeon. He was not inside the pack house, and I was told he was at the training grounds. Instead of sending him a mindlink, I decided to go and see him personally. Since it was already nighttime, I was expecting there would be fewer people I would meet along the way, and I could just enjoy the quiet surroundings on my way to where he was. I nodded and smiled at the warriors I met inside and outside of the pack house, and I couldn’t help but feel happy. They were looking at me with so much respect, different from the way they were looking at me when I came here for the first time. Serenity purred in my head. She was loving her freedom, although she hadn’t shifted yet. And I was excited for her. I couldn’t wait until she could shift and be able to run around in our territory. Our territory. Our pack. That sounded heavenly. I smiled despite myself as my eyes scanned the surroundings. I used
