Aeon insisted we wait until it was morning before we drove to Alpha Riley’s territory. He didn’t want to take a risk and put me in danger in case the poison was not out of my system yet. But I knew myself, and although Serenity was still weak, I knew that I was no longer in danger.

I didn’t want to delay meeting Achilles. I was worried earlier that he had gotten away. That was why I took my time before asking Aeon about him. And I couldn’t stop myself from crying again when he told me that he had been captured and was now being held in one of the cells of the Silver Moon Pack.

I had no idea why I cried

Maybe because he was finally captured. Or maybe because I knew I wanted him dead soon.

I smiled at the men manning the Silver Moon border as Aeon rolled up the window on his side of the car. We were allowed entrance despite the wee hours of the morning. It was only five o’clock, and despite Aeon’s hesitation, we drove off in here after the doctor gave me permission to leave

She should have told him just before his last breath that Riley's father was her mom's mate and Caspian's father just helped her !
