Elena’s Pov;

You are my universe. And I wont let you feel any pain. This line is just enough to melt a frozen heart.

Stirring in the bed, my eyes slowly fluttered open, a white ceiling coming in-contact with my eyes.

Light snores filled up the room. Tilting my head, I saw Elias sitting on the chair, his fingers entangled were with mine.

I gulped at the sudden wave of fear that flashed against my skin.

My erratic heartbeat displayed on the monitor beside me which beeped loudly.

Instantly Elias shot up from his seat, his eyes landing on my stiffened body. “Hey, hey baby, it’s alright, you’re okay.” His hands caressed my hair gently making me calm down.

“Yes, just like that. Breathe. Slowly.” He cooed, placing a kiss on my forehead.

The foreign feeling once again attacked my stomach. My body felt odd, but in a good way.

My heartbeat had approached its normal speed, making me sigh in response. Parting my cracked up lips, I croaked out in a broken way, “W-Wat..er."
