There are three kinds of desire.

The natural and necessary desire. The natural but unnecessary desire. And the empty and vain desires. The kind that looked real on the surface but meant nothing if you looked deeper.

Derek had never fit into any of them. Nothing about him had ever felt natural. Not the life he lived.

Not the things he did. Not even the way he allowed himself to feel.

If anything, Derek created his own definitions. His own rules. And his own version of desire. He took what he wa

Despite sitting in the bar, Derek still couldn't believe that he was there. Unlike other bars, the place was alive in its own way. It was the kind of place where your authority and power becomes useless if you need it. Derek sat at a corner table, his posture remained relaxed but his eyes were alert. He didn’t like the situation, he didn't like the place, he didn't like being called out, he didn't like attending meetings he didn't initiate, especially when the man thought he had leverage. Across from him, the commissioner settled in after making him wait for minutes. “I'm sorry for making you wait,” the old man said, smiling too easily for someone in his position.“You shouldn't apologize for things you did intentionally,” Derek said calmly but the man understood his tone.“I appreciate you coming,” the commissioner said, pretending not to hear Derek's comment. “I don't appreciate an impromptu invitation,” Derek said. “I'll keep that in mind,” the commissioner said, still smiling

“Madam Stygian called,” Paulo said. Derek stood by the large window in his study, a glass of dark liquor resting loosely in his hand. His eyes were distant, fixed on nothing in particular.“And?” He asked with a bored tone. “She said you weren't answering your phone,” Paulo said, crossing his arms as he waited for a reply. “Is she good?” Derek asked, ignoring Paulo's claims. “You should check for yourself,” Paulo said. That made Derek turn to face him. His eyes fixed on Paulo with a sharp glare. “I'm just saying…” Paulo said, raising his hands casually. Derek turned again, sipping the liquor slowly. “You’ve been quiet,” Paulo said.“I’m thinking,” Derek said. “That’s dangerous.”Derek let out a faint breath that almost passed for a laugh. “If you don't mind, what are you thinking about?” he asked.“Well, I do mind,” Derek answered. Paulo raised an eyebrow. “Is this about Lewis?”Derek turned his head slightly. “How did you know?”Instantly, a smirk played on Paulo's face. H

Lewis had been calling Barbie all day. Again and again and again. Each time, he got the same answer. No answer. He paced around his small apartment, his phone pressed tightly to his ear, his patience thinning with every unanswered call.“Pick up…” he muttered under his breath. He stared at the screen for a second, then dialed again. Still no answer. Frustration built slowly in his chest, mixing with something that felt like unease. This wasn’t like Barbie. She could be dramatic, and difficult sometimes. But ignoring him completely for hours? That wasn’t normal.Unless…Lewis shook his head.“No.” He refused to go there. Instead, he scrolled through his contacts and tapped another name.Lailac.The phone rang twice before she answered.“Hello?”“Lailac,” Lewis said quickly, relief slipping into his voice. “Have you seen Barbie?”“No,” she replied. “Why?”“She’s not picking up my calls,” he answered. “Oh… that’s strange.”“You haven’t heard from her?”“No, I’ve been out of town,” Lai

In some situations, the right way out was always obvious, clear, simple and immediate. It was easy to leave without looking back or asking questions. But sometimes, you wouldn't just want to leave. It was not like the danger wasn't clear or you didn't understand the risk. It's just that a part of you, the stubborn, and dangerously curious part of you wants to stay and see what would happen next. That was exactly where Lewis found himself while standing there, staring at Derek after those words came out of his mouth. “Our lives are intertwined now.” Every instinct in his body screamed at him to run. To get as far away from this man as possible. To forget everything, but his feet didn’t move.Paulo’s voice cut through the tension.“I'll take you home.”Lewis turned slightly.Paulo stood at the side, already motioning toward the exit.Lewis looked back at Derek, maybe waiting for him to say more or follow him out. But Derek didn’t move. He didn't follow either. He simply stood there

Lewis sat on the couch, his body relaxed in a way that didn’t feel entirely real. Derek sat beside him. Close enough to feel his breath on his skin. His breath hitched as Derek leaned in, his presence overwhelming in the dim light. There was something different about him here. Maybe because he was less controlling. And that alone, pulled Lewis in.“Say the word,” Derek said, his voice low.Lewis swallowed.“I want you,” he managed to say. Derek’s lips curved faintly. “To do what?” Lewis didn’t respond. He couldn’t because Derek’s hand had just brushed against his lips. The contact made Lewis' heart race.“I can do anything for you… anything you want,” Derek continued in a hush whisper. “I can fuck you, suck you, lick you, bite you… just say the word.”Lewis' lips parted but before he could talk, two of Derek's fingers slipped into his mouth. Slowly, his fingers moved from the tip of his tongue down and stopped at the end, close to his throat. With an open mouth, Lewis fixed his g

As if it was not enough, Derek led Lewis to his stripper's club. If there was anything Lewis ever regretted, it was the decision he made to follow Derek. If he had known, he would have gone back home, maybe to meet Barbie. Barbie. As he remembered her, he took his phone to call her. “No photos,” someone said beside him. He didn't reply. He just flashed him a sideways glare and continued with his phone. The moment he turned it on, seventy seven missed calls from Barbie. His heart dropped instantly. “What the actual fuck?” he groaned internally. How did he miss all those calls? As if the missed calls were not enough, countless messages popped in. “You said you will come back…” that was the first one his eyes caught. “Is the emergency that serious… have you been kidnapped again?” he read. His free hand combed through his messy hair as he sighed loudly. He scrolled through and saw more messages. “Answer your phone, you liar.”“I know there was no emergency.”“You are seeing someo
