"You should explain to her". Mario said as he stood from the mattress. "I need to freshen up". He said and strode out of the cottage.

"Well then...". Mateo sighed and pulled a chair close to Jessica before he sat on it. "Rapid wolves are the strongest, they are like werewolves but stronger than them. Years ago, all of our kind were killed by the werewolf but luckily enough, with the help of your mother we were the only ones who survived during the escaped". He explained. "We are strong, we have different abilities and a stone that gives life to our wolf, but...". He paused before she concluded. "Without that stone, we are nothing, we might even die".

Jessica placed her hands on the table as she darted her gaze over Beka,"You mentioned earlier that you won't let me die the same way my mom did right???". She asked but Beka didn't respond. "How did my mom die? I mean...I heard people telling me that my mom died because of the mate bond she has with my father but..."
