Part 16 - ARDEN'S CONQUEST

Disoriented, he stumbled backward, clutching his head in pain, before ending up on his knees, desperately trying to shake off the dizziness that had overtaken him.

"Seriously, I'm not gonna say it again. Where. Is. The. Woman?" I growled, my impatience evident in my tone.

The man struggled to regain his composure, his eyes darting around the dimly lit warehouse as he desperately tried to gather his thoughts.

"She's... gone," he finally stammered out, his voice shaky. "Hernandez's men took her. We were just following orders."

I clenched my fists in frustration, the anger inside me burning like wildfire. My attention shifted to the woman, and I carefully studied her features. She matched the description Adam had given me.

"Don't even think about making a move, or I won't hesitate to shoot you," I warned, my voice dripping with ice. I tightened my grip on the woman's hair, causing her to groan in pain. It was time to get some answers.
