Part 5 -ARDEN'S CONQUEST

"I finally got to meet you, Addison." A woman with beautiful emerald eyes greeted us. "I know that my brother is hiding something from me. He'd promised to introduce you to us and now is the day." She chirped, dragging me as she cheerfully gabbed, with her one arm hooked into mine. So, this was Carrie, his sister. He had warned me of how inquisitive she could be. The way he talked about her, I could feel how fond he was of her. My eyes rested on the small bump seen through her dress. She's pregnant. I heard this was her second baby. A baby boy. I couldn't contain my smile at her antics narrating how curious she was about me and how much she'd wanted to pay her brother a visit to his home, which he had strictly told her not to do.
