It wasn't as easy as I had thought, cohabiting with someone of the opposite sex, especially now that I knew he was my mate.

I sat on the sofa, my eyes moving around as I discreetly watched Elijah walk around the room. If he were walking alone, that might have been better.

But he was in nothing but his boxer’s brief! He wasn't the only one in the room and shouldn't be as comfortable as that, but it seemed like it was normal for him.

Elijah stopped walking. He moved closer, standing in front of me. “Will you go to the Den with me tonight?”

“What's happening there?” I muttered, clearing my throat. I chanced a glance at him, looking away quickly immediately.

“The football team is having a party tonight. It's meant to be special since we'll start the intra-house and interacademy competition soon. We need to train, and this might be the last party we'll be having. Also, everyone’s coming with their girlfriend.” He explained.
