Recap
Freya Rose“I don’t love you, Sam. And I sure as hell don’t need your support. I should have stayed on my own. I should have put my pack first. From now on, it's them first, always.”I turned and began to storm through the woods.“Freya,” he shouted out.I turned around and created a fireball between my hands. Standing there like some sort of dragon ball-Z character, I hurled a fireball at him while screaming.“Leave, Sam!”I turned back around and began sprinting towards the cabin. I’d probably overreacted a little, especially if he didn’t have anything to do with it. But it was easier to be angry with him than myself. I needed to use every bit of anger I had to get through the situation. If that meant hurting his feelings then so be it. It was better to be strong and tackle the situation head-on than fall into a deeper depression and self-pity. What use would I be then? I needed to get my pack back, and the only way to do that was to become the strongest I could. If that made me har

Chapter One
Freya RoseOnce I'd pulled myself together, I stood up leaving Traian, Marik, and Savanah sitting on the floor around me. I stepped over Traian's leg and as I did, he gently placed his hand on my calf and his fingers brushed against me as I moved away from him. I took a few steps and then glanced back at them. I knew instantly that they could see what I needed. Space. My head was shot and I wanted to decompress a little. I tried to make sense of everything that had happened and clear my mind so that I could work out what our next best move would be. As I walked out of the cabin and into the moonlit garden, Samael popped into my head. I was terribly mean to him, undoubtedly, I broke his heart. Ripped it right out of his chest, threw it on the floor like trash, and stamped on it. All the while he had to stand there and watch in horror, unable to do anything to save himself from heartbreak.I sighed, knowing I would have to suck it up and live with the guilt, just like I'd had to do so m

Chapter Two
Samael WülfI got back to the castle and Lilith was there to greet me. Well, greet may not be the perfect word for it.“Where the fuck have you been?” She bellowed at me with her hands firmly planted on her hips. “Do you have any idea what it's been like here?” She continued without even bothering to let me reply. She threw one hand up in the air in frustration. “Of course, you fucking don't. As if you even give a shit. Sam does whatever Sam fucking wants.”I sauntered up towards her, arms dangling and feet dragging along the floor like a child not wanting to be told off. I sighed when I reached her.“You look like shit. Something has happened to you. Maybe Freya finally dumped your ass. Not that I care. Mother has been driving me insane and it's your turn to feed her.”She turned around and stomped back into the castle and I followed behind.“I'm going to have a long soak in the tub then enjoy the young man I have chained up in my room. If I have to deal with mother’s rantings one mo

Chapter Three
Freya RoseI got out of bed and after having used the restroom, I had a strip wash and brushed my teeth. Once back in my bedroom, I made my way to the closet where I picked out a pair of gray jeans, black sneakers, and an off-the-shoulder black top. It was, casual enough to be ready for anything, but I would still look cute. I put on my underwear and clothes then headed over to my dressing table where I sat in front of the table-top mirror to straighten my hair before slicking it back into a ponytail. I didn't bother with makeup, there wasn't much time for it these days and to be honest I wasn't aging too badly, so the fresh-faced look was working for me so why clog my pores up with products?I left my room and walked along the hallway and then down the stairs where I was expecting to see or hear Savanah, Marik and Traian, but they were nowhere to be seen. I went over to the front door and opened it up so I could see if their cars were gone. I looked around and they weren't there, all

Chapter Four
Freya RoseI sat up and then tried to stand, but my legs were weak and my head began to spin, making me unsteady on my feet. Traian gently put his hands on my waist and guided me back down to the lounger. I needed to stop Marik before he had a chance to hurt Tristan, but I was too late, Tristan had already shifted and Marik followed suit. Within seconds, the wolves were snarling, snapping and charging each other.Poor Lachlan didn't stand a chance, Marik’s wolf was over double the size of him and he looked like a pup in comparison. I closed my eyes not wanting to see the devastation, but as soon as I heard Lachlan yelp in pain my eyes shot open and before I knew it, my ashen gray wings tore through the skin on my back and I began to levitate. Once I was in the air, my body burst into flames and the howl that came from deep within me was the loudest and most ferocious I'd ever heard. It rumbled and must have travelled for miles because I could hear other werewolves replying in the far

Chapter Five
Freya RoseWith my shoulders slumped and hands dangling by my sides, I dropped my head in defeat and then turned to walk away. I couldn't stand in silence in front of Tristan any longer. The kiss for him was clearly a mistake, but I would always be thankful to him for taking my mind off of everything, even if only for a split second. Mina wasn't his biggest fan, she still believed that Marik had the sun shining out of his backside and, to be honest, I couldn't think straight, let alone try to work out who my heart belonged to. That is a shit-show I would have to try and untangle another time.As I strolled back towards the cabin, I kicked tiny rocks and sticks out of the way. I felt beyond broken and I didn't think I even knew who Freya was anymore. With my pack around, I had a purpose, but now I didn't know what to do with myself or even where to start. I knew I had to save my pack, but I needed help. The only person I knew other than Tristan and his pack, was Mason, but how could I
