Dorian POV

She was still breathless when we stepped out of the shower, cheeks flushed and eyes heavy-lidded with satisfaction. I wrapped a towel around her and pressed a kiss to her temple, then pulled on a pair of dark slacks while she lingered by the mirror, staring at the mark I’d left on her neck.

Mine. In blood. In soul.

But it wasn’t just about us anymore. “I have something for you,” I said, crossing the room to the armoire I never let anyone else open. Not even Rylan.

Tessa turned, brows lifting slightly as I unlocked the lower drawer and revealed what I’d prepared.

Three sets of clothes. Each meant something.

The first was sleek, dark leather - tailored to her form, reinforced at the shoulders and waist with fine metal studs that caught the light. The top laced tightly, cut in a way that bared her throat and marked collarbone. Warrior. Untouchable. Fierce.

The second was regal. A soft cream blouse with a deep neckline and embroidered cuffs, paired with a floor-length midnight

Tessa POV The air still buzzed from Dorian’s words. His power had cracked through the grand hall like a storm, and now the pack stood silent in its wake - staring, watching, shifting. Some with awe. Some with distrust. But none dared question him. None dared question us. My fingers still tingled from the brief brush of his hand. My skin was alive with it - every nerve singing from the bond, the claiming, the echo of him still inside me. Gods, I could still feel him. Like his touch had soaked into my bones. And yet... this was real. The wariness in some of their eyes reminded me I wasn’t just a lover in his bed. I was Luna now. A symbol. A shield. A flame. Dorian’s hand returned to mine, anchoring me again as the murmurs resumed around us. “We’ll begin preparations for the vows,” he said to Rylan, who gave a short, firm nod. The room began to shift, motion returning to the gathered pack. Some left, others lingered, whispering. But Dorian kept me close as we turned from the hal

Tessa POV Dorian’s head tilted slightly, the distant look in his eyes sharpening. Mind link. He didn’t speak, but I could feel the shift in his energy - tense, brief, then resigned. He brushed his lips against my temple and murmured, “I’ll be back in a minute,” before disappearing through the bedroom doors and down the hallway. I stood there, unsure, when Elara’s voice floated in behind me. “He hates those. Mind links, I mean.” She leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed loosely, her smile softening. “Feels like they pry into his peace.” I turned to face her. “Is it… something urgent?” She shrugged. “Maybe. Or maybe just annoying.” Then she stepped into the room and looked around. “He did all of this himself, you know. No help. No opinions. Not even mine.” I ran my hand over the velvet on the back of the armchair, still overwhelmed. “He didn’t have to-” “He needed to,” she cut in gently. “After everything… he needed something that felt like hope.” I looked at he

I lay across his chest, the soft blanket pulled halfway over us, our skin still slick from sweat, hearts slowing in sync. His fingers traced lazy circles against the curve of my back, and I felt… whole. Like I was right where I was always meant to be.“You didn’t have to give me all this,” I murmured against his skin, the new suite still glowing around us - luxurious, filled with future and promise.“I didn’t do it for you.” His voice was low and rough, but not cold.I pulled back just enough to look at him. “No?”“I did it for us.” His eyes met mine, molten and steady. “I’m done pretending I’m something I’m not. And I’m done hiding you.”The shift in his expression was subtle - something darker threading through the light.“I want the pack to see you standing beside me. ” He brushed a strand of damp hair from my face. “And I want the Luna ceremony done within the week. Vows. Bonding with pack. Everything.”I hesitated. “Dorian… what if they don’t accept me?”He stilled, his hand paus

Tessa POVThe sharp cry of a hawk overhead stirred me from sleep, golden light already slipping between the tall windows of the suite. The air smelled like dew and pine, and something else - leather, warmth, and Dorian. He wasn’t beside me. I blinked once, then heard the soft rustle of movement in the adjoining room.“I was about to come wake you,” came his voice, smooth and deep.I turned and found him standing at the edge of the bed. He was already dressed - in black tactical pants, a form-fitting long-sleeve shirt, and that alpha confidence that clung to him like a second skin.He tossed a small bundle onto the bed.“Training gear,” he said. “You’ve got twenty minutes. Don’t keep your pack waiting, Luna.”Luna.It still hit me like a new heartbeat, equal parts fire and fear. But this time, I didn’t flinch from it. I got up.By the time we reached the clearing, dozens of warriors were already assembled. The space was surrounded by trees, sunlight dappling the hard-packed earth. The

Tessa POV I never thought planning a mating ceremony would feel like preparing for a siege.Elara led me through the wide halls of the estate like she was commanding a unit. A clipboard in her one hand, half a dozen color-coded notes in the other, pen tucked behind her ear, and a determination that could probably break steel.“So,” she said, sweeping into one of the sunlit sitting rooms just off the eastern corridor, “we’ve got six days. That’s enough time if we don’t waste a single minute.”Three other women were already seated around the low table, parchment, swatches of fabric, and floral samples spread out between steaming cups of tea.“This is Lira,” Elara nodded toward the eldest of the women - a graceful Omega with silver-streaked hair braided down her back. “She’s head of house operations. Every moving piece of this pack’s home flows through her.”Lira inclined her head with a warm smile that didn’t quite reach her sharp eyes. “And soon, Luna, you’ll be part of that flow.”I

Tessa POVI pushed open the suite doors and shut them quietly behind me.The quiet was thick. Still. Heavy with that charged air I’d started to recognize. He was here.I stepped farther in, slipping out of my boots, the faint rustle of my shirt brushing my skin louder than it should’ve been in the hush of the room.“Lira told me you survived the first round of planning,” Dorian’s voice came from the shadows near the balcony, low and dark. “Did she frighten you yet?”I turned. He stood there - shirtless, barefoot, loose black slacks hanging low on his hips, a glass in one hand. The light from the setting sun gilded the hard lines of his chest, the ridges of his abdomen, the dark tattoo curling around his ribs. But it was his eyes that made me stop moving. They were already on me. Already… hungry.“She didn’t frighten me,” I said, voice softer than I meant. “But she did mention a pre-ceremony dinner. That we’re hosting it. Together.”His smile was slow, wicked. “Mm. That’ll be fun.”I r

Dorian POVShe was fire beneath me.No, she was something worse. Something that burned slow and deep, something that didn’t just set flesh alight but dug into the bone. I watched her come undone, mouth parted, eyes wide, body trembling beneath my hands - and I didn’t feel triumphant.I felt addicted.Kael was clawing at the edge of my skin, barely held back. The bastard wanted out. He wanted to break her down completely, to mark every inch of her until even her scent reeked of us."Ours", he growled. "She’s ours. Take her again. Harder. She likes it."“I know,” I murmured aloud before I even realized it, my voice wrecked. She stirred beneath me, a flush high on her cheeks, her eyes dazed and liquid in the low light.Fuck.I was losing control again.Every second I spent inside her, around her, touching her - I lost another inch of discipline I’d carved into myself over years of violence, wars, loss. Tessa POV The sun filtered through the high windows, casting long shadows across the suite’s stone floors. I stood barefoot on the cool surface, watching as Elara moved gracefully through the room with a tray of jewelry and dark lip stain.“You’re too calm,” I said, lips twitching. She arched a brow, tossing a look over her shoulder. “That’s because you’re panicking for the both of us.”I exhaled sharply through my nose. “Not panicking. Just… aware that I’m about to play hostess to several Alphas and their wolves in our private suite.”Elara set the tray down with a soft clink and turned to me fully, eyes gleaming. “You’ll be fine. You’re their Luna now. Time to make them see it.”She started with my hair - twisting it into a half-up style that exposed my neck but let the length spill over one shoulder. Loose enough to look effortless. Sharp enough to look dangerous. The makeup followed - subtle smudges of black along my lashes, a kiss of bronze at my cheekbones, a wine-stained mouth

Tessa’s POVThe door clicked shut behind Marcus, leaving only silence and the distant whisper of wind against the stone walls. I didn’t move at first. Neither did Dorian. My chest rose and fell in a rhythm I couldn’t quite control, like my body was still catching up to what had just been said - what had been confirmed. I wasn’t just different. I was legacy. Power. A thread in a tapestry that spanned generations. And Dorian… he wasn’t just my mate. He was part of the same story. The other half of a design that had been written before either of us were born.My gaze drifted to him, and when our eyes met, the current between us ignited again—unspoken, electric, heavy with things we hadn’t said yet.“You okay?” he asked quietly.“No,” I admitted, voice hoarse. “But I will be. I just... ”He nodded once, as if that was enough. As if that small promise held the weight of an oath.“I’m not sure what scares me more,” I whispered, “that someone gave up everything to hide me, or that I might be

  • Save Me, Claim Me   Chapter 76 : Echoes of the Past

Tessa POVThe scent of pine and morning chill still clung to my skin as I walked beside Dorian through the hallway, the distant hum of voices and training sessions fading behind us. My muscles thrummed with power - alive, tingling, as if every nerve had been awakened and flooded with something wild and ancient. This morning’s training had proven what I already suspected.I was stronger. Faster. Sharper. And not just physically. Sable had moved with fluid grace and precision I hadn’t felt before - our connection was clearer, her instincts more confident. We didn’t stumble over each other like we used to. We were finally in sync. The other wolves had noticed too. Some had watched me with open curiosity. Others, with quiet reverence. But there wasn’t time to bask in any of that. The letter burned in the back of my mind, the name Seraphine Vael like a song I couldn’t stop humming. We stepped into the study where Alpha Marcus already waited, standing near a tall window with a thick leather

Tessa POVThe morning air was crisp, sharp enough to sting my lungs in the first breath as I stepped outside. Dew clung to the grass, and a thin mist curled across the training grounds like smoke trailing from an unseen fire. My bare feet pressed into the cool earth, grounding me. The moment I exhaled, Sable stirred beneath my skin, more alert than ever.“I feel it,” she whispered. So did I.Power no longer flickered at the edge of awareness like a candle too shy to burn. It coursed through me now, liquid heat and lightning under my skin, vibrant and real. I could feel every heartbeat, every subtle shift in the wind, every breath Dorian took as he approached from across the field. He looked like he'd already been training. His shirt clung to him, dark with sweat at the collar and along the sculpted lines of his chest. But his eyes… they were locked on me, intense, proud, and hungry in a way that made my stomach flutter.“You’re early,” he said, voice low, approving.“I couldn’t sleep,

Tessa POV I held the letter in my shaking hand and read it second time... This can't be .. real .My dearest Tessa,If this letter has reached you, then the threads of fate I so desperately tried to shield you from have begun to tighten. Forgive me. There is much I cannot say outright. I bound myself with oaths and blood to keep certain truths hidden - for your safety, and for reasons that may soon reveal themselves. You were never meant to be ordinary, little star. You were born of two worlds, and in you, something ancient sleeps - something that frightened even those who swore to protect it. I had to give you away, though it broke me in ways I never recovered from. I know the day will come when your power will return to you. You will feel it, burning like wildfire through your bones, washing away the veil I was forced to place over you. Please forgive me for that. I did it to keep you alive. The moment you were born, you became a target. The seal was not meant to break until you w

  • Save Me, Claim Me   Chapter 73 : Threads of Power

Tessa POVI stood at the edge of the packhouse balcony, the morning air crisp against my skin. The sky above was painted in soft blues and golds, the sun rising like it had something to prove. Much like me, I thought with a faint smile. There was a strange stillness in the world today - one that hummed just beneath my skin.My reflection in the tall window panes startled me at first. I looked... different. My features were sharper, more radiant. My eyes glowed faintly, gold flecks flickering like embers in a deep forest. My hair - gods, even my hair seemed fuller, darker, shimmering with strands of silver and shadow. Power hummed through me like a current I hadn’t felt before.“You see it too,” Sable whispered, her voice a soft rumble at the back of my mind. “You are more. This is what we were meant to be.”“I feel like I’ve changed overnight, again.” I whispered, fingertips brushing against the slight glow beneath my skin.“Because you have. The bond unlocked something buried. Somet

  • Save Me, Claim Me   Chapter 72 : Bloodlines and Echoes

Dorian POVThe morning sun hadn’t yet crested the distant ridges when I stood at the tall window of my private study, watching the mist curl through the trees like pale fingers. The room was quiet - too quiet - and my wolf didn’t like it.Kael stirred beneath my skin, restless. "She's different now."I nodded to the silent room, though the reflection in the glass answered me - tall, sharp lines in a black shirt, collar open just enough to reveal the mark Tessa had left on my throat. The claiming."More than different," I murmured back. "She’s magnificent."Kael hummed, almost reverent. "You knew she was strong, but not this strong."He was right. I had known Tessa was special - had known it the moment I first caught her scent in the Silver Creek territory. But even then, I hadn’t imagined… this. Her transformation after the Luna ceremony had been nothing short of breathtaking. Strength hummed from her in quiet pulses, radiating in the air around her like heat from the sun. Her eyes, o

  • Save Me, Claim Me   Chapter 71 : Change

Tessa POVI woke up slowly, the sunlight filtering through the curtains, bathing the room in a soft glow. The bed beneath me felt different, as if I were lying on a cloud. Everything about this morning felt different, but it wasn’t until I stretched, feeling the stretch of muscles that hadn’t felt quite so… powerful before, that I realized something had changed. I didn’t know exactly what, but there was a difference. A subtle shift that I couldn’t ignore.Sable was awake the moment my eyes opened, her presence a comforting hum in the back of my mind. She was still, just watching, waiting for me to recognize what had happened. And when I did, she purred softly, a ripple of approval running through our bond.“You feel it too, don’t you?” I asked quietly, my voice still thick with the remnants of sleep."I do", Sable replied, her voice steady, yet tinged with awe. "Something has been unlocked. Something… powerful."I pushed myself up, swinging my legs over the side of the bed. My feet hi

  • Save Me, Claim Me   Chapter 70 : Moonlit Reflections

Tessa POVThe sky was painted in ink and silver by the time we slipped away. Stars shimmered like scattered dust over the dark forest line, and the wind whispered secrets in a tongue only the wolves could truly understand. I leaned against the cool stone railing of the balcony outside our private quarters, a crystal glass of deep red wine held loosely in my fingers.Below, the estate grounds were hushed. The fire pits still glowed softly, casting flickering light across the stone pathways. Most of the guests had retired. The official meetings were done, and the mask of diplomacy had slipped from Dorian's face the moment the doors to our suite had closed behind us.Now, with just the two of us, the night felt like it finally belonged to something real.Dorian emerged from inside, two fingers holding the stem of his own glass, the rest of him bare from the waist up. The soft moonlight carved lines across his chest and shoulders - each scar a story I hadn’t yet heard, but a few I already

Dorian POVThe first strikes of sunlight cut across the floor like a blade, but Dorian was already awake. He stood by the tall windows, bare-chested, the cool morning air brushing against his skin as he sipped from a glass of dark coffee. The city beyond the trees stirred to life in the distance, unaware that history had shifted the night before. She was still asleep. He didn’t turn to look at her - not yet. He could feel her presence in the room like a second heartbeat, tethered to him through the mark she wore, the bond they'd completed in body and blood. Tessa had fallen asleep curled in the sheets after the second time he’d taken her. Possessive, wild, animal. Kael had been dangerously close to the surface, and for once, Dorian had let his wolf have a say.He was different this morning. Lighter and heavier at once. More himself. Kael paced lazily in the back of his mind, still sated, still sharp.“She’s ours now,” his wolf murmured.“She’s always been,” Dorian replied in silence,
