Blair's POV
I had a bad feeling about letting them go without me. But Cassie's argument made sense. I need to be here for Simone. I just hope that things would really turn out well. I have no idea of what Dani is capable of but I had a feeling that I can trust her. She seemed really sincere in helping us out. I received a call from Dani to update me about the situation in France.
"Hey, I just saw Evgeni and his freaking hot." She stated.

Jake's POVI was devastated as I walk out the room. I mean all I heard was she preferred his help and not mine. I am not someone who can be underestimated by anyone. Blair's POVThe sun was already starting to set when Jake and I decided to make our way back in the house. I blushed when he put his arms possessively around my waist. My body was sore and there where probably bruises mostly on my back. He was never this rough before but I guess given the circumstance and the place we were in it was given. I wasn't complaining. Blair's POVI was no longer the same person I used to be. I was no longer fearless. I was very anxious as we went to the meeting. Evgeni held my hands and gave me a reassuring smile. I put on my game face once we were inside and everyone stare at me like they've seen a ghost. Most of them just knew me by reputation. The meeting was heated up the moment Papa told them that he would kill everyone whoever try to harm any of his family. We all reached a consensus and agreed to not mingle in anybody's business from now own. All rumours about us spreading our territory was stopped.
