Chapter 12

Evelyn's POV

I gasped and fell back against the chair as I realized everything Aiden had said was true. I looked down at the wolf in front of me, wondering what the hell it all meant. The wolf whined and nuzzled against my hand. I unclench it, flattening it out and he immediately rubbed his nose, then neck against my hand.

I patted him softly, uncertain at first, but with each stroke I grew more confident, somehow knowing he wouldn't hurt me. Suddenly the wolf starts to change, and before I knew it, he was Aiden again, sitting at my feet, looking up at me.."I know you have questions bunny, and I will answer them. One at a time ok?" He said softly. I nodded my head as he stood up, pulling me up with him as he wrapped his arms around me, squeezing me tightly.

"Thank you for not running from me. I was so afraid I'd lose you once you found out." He whispered in my hair. He sat down on the chair and pulled me into his lap. I wrapped myself around him, snuggling close as I looked into
