Emily groaned as she tried to open her eyes. Her eyelids felt so heavy, but she felt like she really needed to wake up for something. Gathering her strength she was finally able to open her eyes. Blinking a few times and turning her head, Emily realized that she did not know where she was. Looking around everything was dark, but she could see at the same time. She was laying on the floor and the chair that she had been sitting in while in the conference room was on the floor beside her. She must have fallen out of the chair or it fell over putting her on the floor. Emily scrunched up her face trying to remember what happened. She remembered being in the conference room and then the hunter that was talking to them said that Lord Rotterford knew that she was there. She could understand if she fainted, but fainting did not explain where she was now and where everyone had gone.
