Gabriel was happy that everyone was supporting his mate and that no one was wanting to blame her for this mess with the hunters, but at the same time he did not like the fact that she was going to be in danger. He heard what she said Agatha told her about being strong and them gaining strength from each other, but she was not raised as a warrior or with her abilities. 

Even as cubs, shifters start simple training, and the training increases as they gain their wolves and age. Others gain and start using their powers at an early age too. Emily never got to use or even experience her power. She does not know how she will respond to the powers when she gets them. It takes years to master skills if you are not super powerful. With her being as strong as Agatha is saying, who knows how long she would really need to be in control of her abilities. Everything for her is based on what might or should be. Emily
