Lord Rotterford looked at the two sorry excuses for hunters that were currently trembling in front of him. “I will only ask this one more time,” he said through clenched teeth and barely continuing his temper. “How did you let Daniel go through one of the openings?”

“S-Sir, I do not know how he got to one of the openings.” One of the sniveling weaklings in front of him stammered. “W-We were opening them as fast as we could, closing them, and then changing the locations to avoid detection when all of a sudden I turned and he was not there. The hunter that stabbed your fiancee was standing there looking at us confused and demanding to know what was going on,” he finished quickly and looked back down at the floor.

“This is bullshit,” Lord Rotterford yelled as he slammed his fist down on the desk he was currently sitting behind. “I know someone saw or knows something! Speak!” Lord Rotterford seethed as he sat there and no one else dared to say anything. After several more tense moments
