Chapter 50: When The Going Gets Tough
The next couple of days start to get rougher unfortunately. When I hear Dominic yelling at the top of his lungs at the chef, I know there is something really wrong, “This food tastes like shit!” He points to the plate he is holding. Then he continues stating, “What is it anyway?”
The chef stares at him in disbelief before stating quietly with his head down, “Shrimp Scampi. I was hoping something different would make you feel better. I’m sorry you didn’t approve of it.”
Feeling bad for him and wondering what exactly is wrong, I take him aside after dinner and have a talk with him. “Dominic, you are taking your bad mood out on the Chef. What exactly is wrong?” I cock my head and ask as nicely as possible.
