Anika’s P.O.V
“We haven’t seen you here before, Dr. Mehta,” Officer Emilio asked, writing stuff down on his notepad. “When did you arrive at the Sapphire Mountains?”
“Last night, around 11 PM,” I told him, shifting from foot to foot out of impatience. “I met Tiffany at my cabin, you can ask her to confirm.”
“We will,” Damien gave a tight smile. “And did you find anything unusual while you were coming to the cabin?”

“Like…did you find any wild animals on the road or something that might seem out of place?”
