Chapter 40 - Mikey

I was preparing for my weekly visit to Silver Mountain Pack when Uncle Drake told me to stop visiting unless he said so.

I asked for the reason behind it but he never gave me one and told me to just follow what he said. I was not going to do just that, but when he told me that if I disobeyed him he would make sure that I would be banned from visiting Anya, which of course, is something I couldn’t risk.

But then the week became weeks and I wanted to ask Uncle Drake about the visits but it was Aunt Athena who stopped me this time.

She told me that Anya was willing and that I should just wait for her return. She also emphasizes how Purple Hill needed me more than Anya and that Anya is protected in the Silver Mountain Pack.

I wanted to tell her that I was the only one who could protect Anya and wanted to let her know that Anya does not belong to the Silver Mountain Pack. But what Aunt Athena said surprised me.

“If you didn’t hurt her and leave her, then we wouldn’t have this problem,”
