Abducted by a stranger

CHAPTER TWO.

( JULIANA'S POV )

I woke up with a splitting headache which was so bad that I couldn't keep my eyes open immediately I opened them.

My eyes landed on the white ceiling as I tried to recall the last thing that had happened.

Where was I?

I forced myself up, and calmly looked around the spacious room.

My eyes widened at the splendor of it. It was beautiful, infact beautiful than my room back at the Midas pack.

Wait... What was I saying?

This room was far more beautiful than the Alpha's chambers in fact!

"I'm glad you think so." A voice suddenly interrupted my thoughts.

I leaned towards the headboard, as my eyes landed on the figure who was walking in at that moment.

He was cloaked and his head was covered with a black hood. I couldn't make out his facial features at all.

"Who are you, and why did you abduct me?!" I mustered courage and yelled at him.

He was silent after my outbursts, making me wonder if I hadn't crossed my limits.

And that was when I heard it. I looked up at him, to make sure I wasn't imagining things, and sure enough he was... laughing.

What?

'Did I say something funny?' I thought to myself.

"No you didn't, I'm just amused at your reaction." He chuckled.

"Wait... You can hear my thoughts?" My eyes went wide as saucers, as I cringed.

"Of course. You are practically yelling out your thoughts." He said again.

"No, I'm not." I protested.

"Yes, you are." He approached me slowly.

I became alert. What was he trying to do?

"You... Stay back." I warned in an ironically shaky voice.

"And if I don't?" He halted.

"Then I would deal with you." I retorted.

I waited for him to speak, and when he didn't, I raised my head to look squarely at his cloaked figure.

He was shaking and his fists were clenched.

I became puzzled as I watched him. What was happening?

"Hey, are you fine?" I questioned nervously.

No response.

" What are you doing?" I finally asked when he continued behaving weirdly.

But when he replied, I wished I never asked in the first place.

"Do you want to know?"

A cold chill enveloped my body, as I sensed the creepiness in the voice. Cold sweat began dripping down my back almost immediately.

The voice sounded nothing like the person who had been speaking to me, earlier on.

He resumed walking towards me, and I held back the urge to yell loudly.

Suddenly, he gripped my neck tightly almost choking me.

"You are beautiful, I see. Just the right face for my design." He whispered coldly.

I shivered at his words, and shut my eyes.

"Ple....ase.... don't... cough!!!" My eyes dilated as my breathing vassals felt as if it was blocked.

"Weak." He released my neck and I began coughing violently on the bed. I shuddered when I thought about my almost death experience which I had just gone through.

"Hush, before I rip your head off your neck." He commanded harshly.

I promptly stopped coughing, and I whimpered.

He turned his back towards me, and stood there for a while.

"I see, he got good eyes. He would be delighted at the design I'm going to make on that beautiful and fair skin of yours, Juliana."

I grabbed at the sheets in fear as he approached me slowly.

My eyes landed on his hands, and widened at the sight of a sharp knife.

"Please don't... I beg of you, don't kill me!" I pleaded desperately, wishing I could teleport.

"Kill... Why do you let your thoughts wander, dear Juliana? I won't kill you. I only want to make you look more prettier, what do you say?" He threw his head back and let out a deep throated, cold laugh.

Alarm bells began ringing in my head, as he held the knife close to my cheeks. His words dawned on me, as I realized what he had meant by ' design'.

This lunatic was going to disfigure my face!

'Please let me go.' I pleaded inwardly, hoping for him to read my mind.

I was surprised, when he didn't react to my thoughts, almost as if he didn't hear them.

The knife inched towards my face.

Closer...closer....closer...

And then he halted. His hands began shaking violently.

He used his other hand to hold it down, and pushed it towards my face.

My instincts kicked off, and I sprang away from the bed, and darted towards the door.

I turned the door knob, and my heart raced, when I discovered it was locked, and I couldn't open it at all.

"Don't run from me, Juliana. You can't." I shuddered when I heard his cold voice behind me.

I pounded at the door frantically as tears spilled down my cheeks.

"Help! Help me, please!"

He got to the door , and just when he was about to slit my cheeks, he fell down to the floor, heavily.

I leaned on the door, letting out a sigh of relief.

'That was close.'

My eyes landed on his tall frame and blinked.

What in heaven's name was happening?
