41, Peaceful arrest

After showering and grabbing some snacks, Rayvin and Mikael walked into his office in the house and sat down to talk. Rayvin looked at Mikael. He looked better than he had done before their tumble in the kitchen.

“What are the options?” she asked him.

“To kill him.” The answer came quick and with no emotion. Mikael tossed a hand full of peanuts into his mouth and, to most people, he seemed unfazed. But Rayvin knew better. Despite his father ignoring him most of his life, and then trying to mould him into a replica of himself, never listening to Mikael and running Rayvin from the pack, Mikael loved his father. She knew he would kill him, but she also knew it would hurt Mikael to do so.

“Yes, that’s one option. What are the others?” she asked.

“A year ago, I might have considered turning him rogue. But that time is over, and he would cause too many issues if left to roam freely,” he said in a dark voice.
