“I have been a troublemaker. I am sure you regret meeting me,” I said, a smirk on my face. “Well, I would do the same if I were in your shoes. It makes enough sense that you hate me.”

Julian sighed, “I never knew you knew how to be pathetic.”

“What!” I exclaimed. “I am telling you my inner thoughts but you think it’s pathetic behavior? Well, I guess it is.”

“Listen up…” Julian told me calmly. “Blaming yourself for the misfortunes of my life is a very bad move. You ruined nothing. I’d like to believe that everything that happened between us was the work of fate.”

“Well…” I was short of words. “You mean we are like… meant to be?”

“Not that!” he replied sharply, catching me off guard. “What I mean was… erm…”

Julian was flustered. Well, he was human too. I smiled now as I waited for him to recover. He closed his eyes and I almost begged him to open them. He was driving for goodness sake. He reopened his eyes now and continued talking.

    Amelia drove me to the place where I was shooting my first scene. I had memorized my lines and even done practice with the other actors but I was still nervous. After all, I had never been involved in something so big like this. On the way, I saw Amelia keep glancing at me. “Focus on driving only. It's best for the safety of both of us,” I told her calmly. “I understand,” she replied. “However, I think you need to lighten up. It's your first shoot and I know you have high hopes for it.
