The grand hall of the Apollo Pack was lit brightly, with the pack members gathered under the brilliance of the sun emblem that hung proudly above the Alpha’s throne.

Its golden rays were engraved into the wall of polished obsidian, catching the sunlight streaming through the high glass windows and casting blazing reflections across the marble floor.

The crest was a symbol of glory, justice, and unwavering strength, and it seemed no less awe inspiring than the sun outdoors.

Elders, betas, ranked warriors, and pack members stood shoulder to shoulder in the vast chamber. Robes of deep green, gray, and black marked their ranks, while the elders stood closest to the throne.

Paul, dressed in a crisp black suit with the Apollo insignia stitched on his chest, sat on the grand throne, carved from dark oak and leather.

Behind him, seated on the slightly smaller yet no less imposing chair, was his father, the former Alpha. His once fiery presence was slightly dulled by age, but he was s

  • Scar : the rejected Luna   155. Scared*

Jonas' POV:“Good…”She said, biting her bottom lip. Then her eyes narrowed in that wicked way that always made my stomach tighten. “Because I’m ready for round two.”I blinked. “Already?”But Katrine didn’t answer with words. She just dropped to her knees in front of me, eyes still locked on mine as her fingers moved to my pants. My heart slammed against my ribs as she undid the button, tugging at the zipper with urgency. Her touch sent a shock straight through me, even though I was still sticky from our last round. I didn’t care. Neither did she.She pulled me free, her hand wrapping around me, already coaxing me back to full hardness. Her gaze was hungry now—intense, focused. And when she leaned forward and licked a slow stripe up my length, I hissed through my teeth.“Fuck…”“Let me make you forget everything,” she whispered, her breath hot against my skin. “Let me take care of you.”And then she swallowed me whole. My head dropped back against the tree with a dull thud. The world

  • Scar : the rejected Luna   154. Relaxing?*

Jonas' POV:My knuckles were raw.I’d thrown a hundred punches and it still wasn’t enough. The bark of the old pine I used for a bag was chipped, flecked with blood, my own growl echoing in the stillness of the forest. The river rushed behind me, a low roar that matched the pressure in my chest.I couldn’t face Lexie. Not yet.Not when I still hadn’t found her mate. Not when the last lead went cold. Not when all I could offer was silence and guilt. So I trained. I punished myself. Jab. Cross. Hook. My sweat dripped down my spine, my body bare from the waist up, chest heaving, lungs screaming. It wasn’t enough. And then I caught a scent—sharp, clean, intoxicating. Water and wildflowers. My wolf snapped to attention, tail curled, eyes locked toward the river.Katrine.I turned just in time to see her emerging from the lake, water cascading down her bare arms, her top soaked and clinging to every curve. She walked toward the shallows like some goddess of the hunt, her damp hair slicked b

  • Scar : the rejected Luna   153. Unfair!

Author's POV:Paul’s eyes widened as he saw the glint of metal in Elara’s hand. The needle caught the faint lamplight of the healer’s hut, and instinct screamed through his limbs, even though they felt heavy. Like he has been drugged. His voice strained as he tried to keep himself upright. “Elara—what are you doing? Don’t—”But the moment he tried to lunge, the sedative she had earlier slipped into his tea dragged him back down like iron weights clamping onto his limbs.“Please,” he managed, his voice raw, eyes pleading. “Don’t do this…”“I’m sorry,” she whispered, her hand trembling, “but this is the only way to keep you here.”The needle pricked the skin of his arm. “You’ll understand me better once you wake up, okay? I’m keeping you safe.”Paul’s body tensed, every nerve firing off in warning. His eyes narrowed on her face… on the flicker of guilt in her expression, the wavering in her breath. He tried to move, to shove her hand away, to grab her wrist and stop whatever she wa

  • Scar : the rejected Luna   152. Push and Pull*

Jonas' POV:The scent hit me first.Warm, soft, and so unmistakably her. Katrine… her sweet heat laced with the wild whisper of her skin, my mate’s scent. Even half-asleep, my wolf stirred like a thunderclap in my chest, tail thumping in joy deep within the tether of my soul. She was close. Curled right beside me, tucked into the sheets like she belonged there. And hell, he loved to remind me that she did.My eyes blinked open slowly. The moonlight poured in through the open window, casting silver on her bare shoulders, the rise and fall of her breathing slow, steady. Her lashes were spread soft on her cheeks, lips parted, bare skin glowing. And she was mine, finally…After all the push and pull, all her running and my chasing, she was here. In my bed… in my arms.Without meaning to, I reached out and wrapped her closer. My hand curved around her waist, drawing her into my chest, breathing her in. Her scent flooded my lungs like fire and honey, addictive and maddening. My cock ha

  • Scar : the rejected Luna   151. Burning embers*

Jonas leaned back on his elbows, chest heaving, but that glint in his eye was far from satisfied. He reached for her, strong hands gripping her waist, but before he could pull her into his lap, Katrine straddled his thigh, grinding herself against his skin, needy and wet.But Jonas wasn’t done teasing. He hooked one arm around her middle and turned her swiftly, pressing her back gently onto the sheets, kneeling between her parted legs. “Ah! Ah…mmh…”She let out a startled breath that turned into a moan as his mouth trailed down her throat, his other hand moving to her slick core."You did so well, you little brat…”He murmured, lips brushing against her ear, “But if you're going to take me in, you're going to be prepped just right.”“Ah… yes… please… I want it, please!”She whimpered as the coolness of his rings brushed her already heated flesh, the metal a shocking contrast that made her hips jerk. He smiled against her skin, loving her reactions, and then slid his fingers lower.Th

  • Scar : the rejected Luna   150. Lost Time*

The cabin was dim, shadows dancing against the wooden beams as the fire in the hearth whispered its final crackles. Outside, the forest lay still under a velvet sky, moonlight bleeding through the curtains in pale streaks. Jonas lay shirtless atop the bed, one arm lazily thrown over his head. He didn’t hear the door click open at first. Katrine stood at the doorway like she was lit from within. Her breath was shallow as she watched Jonas sprawled on the bed, his chest bare and rising in a deep, steady rhythm. The sheet barely covered his hips, clinging to his body like even that didn’t want to part from him.She padded toward him slowly, heart hammering in her chest, her silk slip clinging to her thighs with every movement. Jonas was in deep sleep, and didn’t feel her enter his room. Not until the mattress dipped with the lightest pressure. Katrine’s fingers grazed his shoulder.Jonas stirred, not fully awake, not quite asleep. He groaned low, his brows furrowing slightly, but he d
