Zahra's POV

Tonight, I’m having dinner in the Beta Suite with my Uncle Nicholas, Aunt Kayla, and Cousin Alice. Aiden is off doing something with Tobias and the others, and honestly, I’m grateful for the quieter evening. I’m completely exhausted after today. My hands are sore from gripping ropes on the obstacle course, and every muscle in my body is screaming after the sparring sessions. Zanthe is working overtime to heal me, her usual chatter absent as she focuses on mending the damage.

As we eat, Uncle Nicholas looks at me and says, “In the morning, Zahra, we’ll head back over for the continuation of the challenges. Then, during the camp’s break, Baxter wants to test you himself in some combat moves.”

I raise an eyebrow, half-dreading what "testing" with Baxter might entail. Nicholas continues, “After lunch, there’s a lecture on pack politics. You’re welcome to attend, but I think Alice and Princess Charlotte have something planned instead.”
