Chapter 10

As planned, Jefferson came home from the market at three o'clock in the afternoon to avoid the crazy traffic jams. The roads started to look crowded when Jefferson got home; maybe if he waited about two or three hours later, he'd be stuck in that traffic.

Jaxson gave him permission to come home earlier, even before Jefferson gave him an explanation; it seemed like they didn't need to be too hung up on the schedule. Jefferson now believed what Malvin and Howard had said; the gossip was true, and they were paid to be silent and pretend.

Unlike Andrew, he didn't care; he just followed Jefferson to the exit, still trying to ask him on a date; Jefferson refused to accept it.

But this time, it was different. Instead of forcing Jefferson or doing the annoying things he usually does, Andrew gave his address with a photo of his gate, just in case Jefferson lost.

He parked his motorbike right beside Jefferson's motorbike. Jefferson looked at him with a confused look; he rode his motorbik
