Jefferson didn't listen to what Hugo said; it was like a speech to open an event that wasn't necessary. Even without doing that, the event will go well – if they prepare well for the event–. Jefferson saw several photographers on the second floor hanging around, and Hugo occasionally smiled at the camera.
