I don't need those proofs

Aira and Hailey gasped after I disclosed my story. They were both flabbergasted specifically in the part when I and Brent crossed our path. My story seems like an unreal one but it was the truth.

“So you’re saying that Brent’s father was the reason why your Dad committed suicide?” Hailey clarified unable to comprehend everything that happened.

“Yes, they sued my Dad with a crime that he didn’t commit," I reiterated to them that he was accused wrongly.

“Kelsie, have you tried to study the case and gathered evidence that proves your father's innocence?” I was disoriented by what Aira said, but my thought for what happened was firmed enough.

“I don’t need those proofs, Aira. I believe in my father’s words!”  I insisted because my father won't lie to me. He was the most trustworthy person I've ever known.
