ANA’S POVI held Anna close to me, as she told me everything about how worried Len and Logan were when they figured out that I was missing. Was I supposed to be ashamed that I was deriving so much joy from listening to how much they care about me?I was more than glad that I had Anna there. She was a little girl, but she was the only one that I could comfortably talk to about the things I was feeling. I didn’t care if she understood what I was talking about. She was always there to listen. And I’m sure she knew that it was supposed to be a secret. She had never for once judged. Nor had she told anyone about it just yet. “And for the first time, Uncle Logan didn’t even come out to play with me. He stayed back in his room, and Uncle Len had to take over. He never missed an hour of play. And it was almost like he was even enjoying it more than I did. “Was he?” I asked, trying to hold back my smile. The thought of watching Len play with her when I walked in was still fresh in my mind. H
LEN’S POVI practically had no peace as I watched Selene walk into the palace. She seemed to be so occupied that she didn’t notice that I wasn’t going in with her. “What’s wrong with you, man?” Logan asked, punching my hand in a playful manner. I opened my mouth to respond to him, but I couldn’t. I just shook my head, only making him narrow his eyes. All the people that had gathered to look at Alana had slowly started to head back to their duties. But for some reason, she stayed there on the floor, with her eyes on me. “Doesn’t she seem creepy?” Logan asked, leaning into me. When he didn’t get any response from me, he patted my shoulder. “Selene is worried about you. Loosen up a little.”He walked away, and I was still there. Alana got up slowly. “You seemed to have changed,” she said calmly, looking around the pack.“How did you get in?” I asked, and she twirled her hair in her hand. “A little trick did the job.”I exhaled. Of course, I knew that Selene wouldn’t just allow anybo
ANA'S POV There was a huge smile on my face as I woke up. My legs were wrapped around both Len and Logan. It was funny that I had gotten up between the both of them. Len came back in a sour mood, and the only thing he wanted at that point was me. There was no way I was going to stop him from having all of me. Logan had forgiven me as well, and there was nothing better than then. I attempted standing up, but Len held me back immediately. “Stay,” he murmured, and I smiled, thinking he was still joking. I tried standing up again, but he still held on to me. “Please, Selene. Stay.”I frowned. I looked over at Logan, trying to make sure we weren't disturbing him. “Is everything okay, Len?” I asked, looking at him with a frown on my face. Len refused to open his eyes to look at me. “Just stay here. I need you.”I found myself curling myself into a ball as I backed him, and he pulled me to him. He wrapped his hand around my waist, and buried his nose in my hair. Even if having him hold
LEN’S POVThere was this strong feeling that I should have told her everything. I was hiding things from Selene, and I felt bad about it. Guilt was clawing at my chest. I almost turned back to tell her everything that Rowan and I were planning. But then, it was of no use. She would absolutely refuse, and I couldn’t have her doing that. Not at this stage. I turned back to look at the palace one more time. There was no one in sight, and it seemed like my permission to forge ahead. I walked down to Rowan’s house, walking in this time without even knocking. He seemed slightly annoyed as he looked up at me, and I almost made my way outside the house just to knock again. He held his hand in the air, gesturing for me to come back. I walked in, unable to give that smile that I usually gave. There was tension in the air. And we both recognized it too well. There was something different about him. There was a change, but I didn’t know what it was just yet. He was not one for the kind of an
ANA’S POVI found myself bending my head to the side, to give Len more access. I had missed this part of him. He slipped his tongue into my mouth, and I moaned against his lips. “Let me,” he whispered, and I widened my legs. I felt myself shiver as he slipped his hands in between my legs. I was already soaking wet for him. “You are mine, Selene,” he said, as he bit down on my neck. I threw my head back, trying to be silent.“Zach should not have access to touch this,” he said, and I nodded. At this point, it was almost like I could promise him anything. “You won't be going back there to get married to him. You know that, right?”I couldn’t say anything. The thought that I had countless possibilities of getting married to Zach was still fresh in my mind. I knew it was the last thing I wanted to be thinking about at that moment, but I couldn’t stop myself. Len slipped a finger inside me before I could even catch my breath. He was still violently kissing me as he fingered me. “I don’
ANA’S POVI couldn’t deny the fact that I was hurt by the way Len had walked out on me. But for some reason, I still felt like he had every right to do that. I wanted to tell him everything that was going on. At the same time, I didn’t want him to confront Zach for anything just yet. I didn’t want Logan feeling guilty for anything either. I had spent very little time with the both of them, but I knew that the twins were extremely competitive, and Logan might just never forgive himself for not being good enough. I walked inside, thankful that Anna was going to have breakfast just as Len had asked her to. Seeing the both of them together was another thing that I thought I was never going to see. At least I knew that my absence had fixed something. Anna was practically the only one at the dining table. I blinked back the tears and immediately asked, “Is Uncle Logan in the palace?” and she nodded. “But Uncle Len says he’s the only one in the whole pack who is allowed to see him. Nobody
