He doesn’t take long in the bathroom but just as he sat down his phone pings. He reads the text then looks at me and smiles. “Your gift is here, give me a moment to go and get it.” I just nod and he up and left.

I continued eating my food, the girls are coming back at the end of this month and then the games can begin.

People will get what is coming to them when they get here. I can’t wait. “Excuse me mam.” I lifted my head and a waiter is standing in front of me with a polite smile on his face.

“What is it?” he hands me a small piece of paper. “I was told to give you this.” Alex arrived with a gift bag, and I got confused. Is the paper part of his gift?

“What is that?” he asked and that answered my question. This little love note is not from him, then who is it from?
