Chapter Four

Sacha arrived at the fancy hotel which she had booked for a week with Mandy. But as she was about to pass the lobby, the receptionist quickly pulled her to hide behind a column,

Sacha panickingly, stared at him with wide eyes, wondering what was going on.

“Miss Davidson, I am afraid that there are two men here asking about you. I just thought I should warn you before you go to your room.” The receptionist whispered.

“Thank you,” Sacha replied in gratitude for the warning. Then she walked away in thoughts while wandering whom they could be.

She strategically decided to take the stairs instead, which no one used, not wanting to accidentally encounter these men. She had the advantage for now of them not knowing that she was here and knew of their presence.

She sneaked onto the upper floor and quickly hid by the corner. Then she peeked to see these so-called uninvited guests.

But her eyes quickly widened as soon as she saw who they were. They were busy quarreling with a hungover Mandy by the door.

“Look here, I do not know where Sacha is. And she is a grown-up woman who can go wherever she wants to! I do not care if you are her cousins, leave her alone!”

Mandy was fuming mad. Making Sacha realize why she had not answered her phone. She had been busy handling her difficult cousins.

It was two of them, Max and Dave. Her uncle`s sons and her mother`s favorites. Of course, her mother must have sent them as soon as she realized that Sacha was not answering her calls. Calls that would have included boring unwanted conversations about that Ceo`s spoiled brat of a son and wedding plans.

But still, like hell? They were so desperate enough that they had even followed her to another city. What kind of family was this?

Sacha knew that they too, her cousins had come for their own interests. To drag her back home to work because they did not want to do the mackle deal on their own. Lazy ungrateful pricks.

Seems they could never give her a break! Not even a single day had passed!

Although she felt angry and wanted to go there and slap both of them, Sacha stayed back. She was not ready to be dragged back home. She had a mess to deal with here. Her new marriage in Vegas. And if her family found out, they would kill her!

She also knew that her cousins had found her, because of the damn black card. They had to have traced her huge spending from last night. She quickly knew that she had to stop using it.

Turning around she instead ran down the stairs, made sure to thank the receptionist again. Then she hailed a cab using the last paper money she had.

As soon as she arrived at her destination, she found herself feeling nervous. But she had nowhere to go and her cousins would definitely continue haunting Mandy and that Hotel until they had her.

So she had no choice, she hesitantly knocked on the door.

He opened and stared at her in shock, seems he had not expected her to come back. After the way, she had high-tailed out of there.

“Hie,” was all Sacha could say as she walked in.

“Tell me, Gavin, Is it her? Is that my new daughter-in-law, is she back from the store?” Sacha quickly paused midway as she heard a soft feminine voice speak,

And Gavin looked nervous as hell.

“My mother on face time,” He mouthed the words to her, and Sacha quickly motioned that she would keep her mouth shut and pretend she was not here. She did not want to speak to his mother right now, heck she did not even know what to say or were to start.

"No mom, its just a neighbor who came to ask for something,” She heard Gavin reply as he walked over to his bedroom and sat by his laptop.

“Aw shame, I wanted to see her. My new daughter law. You have no idea how happy you made me Gavin.” Sacha`s eyes then widened as she could hear the woman`s voice becoming teary.

“It fills me with joy to know that I can finally die in peace while knowing that you won't be alone in this world. That you will have someone by your side.”, as she continued, Sacha found herself having another flashback of last night.

Flashback...

It was them, her, Mandy, Steve, and Gavin, staggering like drunkards as they drank more and more of that neon-colored drink.

She was so high that she felt as if the whole world was spinning.

“You know my mother, she has cancer which is eating her away. But she told me her dying wish is that she wants to see me married and with a wife before she dies,” Gavin spoke his voice slurring as they walked to nowhere with one hand wrapped around a drunk Sacha.

“Well, my family is trying to force me into an arranged marriage with this Jerk. My mother has already started with the wedding plans. They do…not..care about my feelings at all.” drunken Sacha also replied back, hiccuping with each word.

“I know what you guys need to do!” A drunken Mandy immediately joined the conversation, causing drunk Sacha and drunk Gavin to stop walking and stare at her, wanting the answer to their troubles.

“You two should Get MARRIED!” Drunked Mandy dramatically stated,

“There is a chapel there and we can DO IT TONIGHT!” she continued, easily convincing both drunk Sacha and drunk Gavin,

“My mother will be happy,” Gavin replied, drunkenly nodding his head.

“I won't have to marry that Jerk.” Sacha also added with a drunken smile,

“Let's go!” Mandy drunkenly then shouted while excitedly dragging everyone with her.

end....

After that small flashback, Sacha found herself back in the room and watching Gavin having facetime with his mother.

“So um, how did you know that I am now married,” Gavin nervously asked his mother, surprising Sacha at how he was not the one, who had told her.

“Don’t you remember, you send me a picture in the middle of the night? I woke up wondering what it was, and since it was from you I had to open it. And you can not imagine how much I STARTLED everyone in the hospital with my scream of excitement.”

“One of the nurses even rushed into the room, in a panic from thinking that I was in pain. Only for me to show her, the amazing picture of my son with his wife. One of both your hands with rings and the marriage certificate. I could not open the video since you never send it properly. So resend it. I just wish you had told me about her and not kept her a secret like that Gavin!”

“There is a video???” Sacha found herself frozen in more panic. She found herself hoping she too had not sent it to her family. Was that another reason why her cousins had come?

Oh God, she hoped not!

“Um well, I wanted it to be a surprise. If you had met her, I know you would love her. She is breathtakingly beautiful, sweet smile, and with a good heart.” As Sacha heard Gavin say that about her, she could feel this warm feeling rise inside her chest. She was touched.

“Well hurry up then in bringing her over here. I want to meet her and share embarrassing stories about you. I still have that baby album of you,” Her mother continued,

“Come on mom, and soon okay, also don’t give nurse Rue trouble. Please take your medicine.” He finished with a concerned son look in his eyes.

“Don’t worry, I just like giving them a hard time once in a while. And nurse Rue rarely smiles!”

“Bye mom and love you,” As Gavin closed the laptop, you could see the pain in his eyes. The same pain she had seen last night before inviting him for a drink. He was afraid of losing his mother. In pain, because he knew it was inevitable. He also seemed to really love her.

“I…I'm sorry for not telling my mother the truth about us. I just…I just want to see her this happy for much longer before I tell her that it was you know….” He finally spoke looking up at her.

“It's okay, I understand,” Sacha whispered, sitting next to him and taking his hand into hers to squeeze it in comfort.

She did not know why but there was something about Gavin that just made her become this soft mush. She could not stand to see him in pain. She just wanted to soothe it all away.

He first stared at her hand on top of his then he stared right into her eyes.

Those captivating intense grey eyes. It was as if the whole world had faded away into the background and it was now just only her and him.

Without even thinking about it, Sacha found herself pulling him in, her lips meeting his. Those same fireworks invading her body and busting into sweet chaotic sparkles.

Another flashback memory from last night immediately came to her,

Flashback...

They had just arrived right here in this same room, drunk and now making out on the bed. All the clothes off, with Sacha, just left in her bra and panties.

"My lovely wifey, I think I will not sleep with you tonight,"

"Why not, aren`t we now married," Drunken Sacha said with a whine,

"When we make love, I want to be able to remember it," Drunken Gavin had replied before he turned around and drunkenly dropped asleep on the bed.

Flashback ends...

As she came back to reality, his strong manly hands were now wrapped around her tiny waist as they faced each other on the bed.

A small moan еѕсареd her аѕ Gavin tооk thе kіѕѕ deeper, hіѕ tongue invading hеr mоuth tо еxрlоrе her hіddеn dерthѕ.

Sаcha wаntеd, no nееded tо get сlоѕеr. That sweet memory, still fresh in her mind, She quickly climbed on top of him, wrapping both her legs around him as he ravished her mouth. Their tongues still stuck in a sweet entangling dance.

Hеr hаndѕ slid up and over hіѕ сhеѕt, underneath his shirt before going up and rеѕtіng оn his ѕhоuldеrѕ. fееlіng thе muѕсlеѕ ԛuіvеr bеnеаth the ѕurfасе as ѕhе tried tо pull hіm closer.
