Clara

I could feel my jaw tightening as my patience slowly ran out.

Tugging my wrist back, I asked. “Even if I am here to help?”

The Pack doctor grinned before he ended up just nodding. “I had no idea what help you were talking about. You’re not related to any kind of medical field, Luna. I don’t mean to sound rude, but have you lost your mind?”

“Yes, you’re right. I’m not a medical professional but you are and still unable to do anything to save this poor man. This is your only job and purpose here and yet you still failed to do it right.”

His nose flared, his breathing rapid probably with anger. He was lowly and inwardly growling, but I was still able to hear him before his hand was lifted into the air.

I heard Donna screaming as the Pack doctor’s straightened palm was about to reach my cheek.

“Luna!” she screamed, hearing her footsteps fast approaching my place to save me.

But before she could, I blocked his palm from touching my face using my arm as I shoved his hand away.
