Samuel

I was staring dumbfoundedly at Clara waiting for her response. My mind was in a deep haze that I failed to get a clear understanding of what this happening is all about.

Alice remained kneeling on the floor, crying so bad. While Clara was sneeringly watching Alice beg for forgiveness, I tried to understand what Clara just said, but none of that makes sense.

She’s accusing my Luna of embezzling money from the pack! And that is not something that is easy to absorb.

“Answer me,” I demanded, my teeth gritting in frustration.

“Why do you think she is kneeling in front of you, crying, and asking you to just puni—” “Just give me a damn straight answer!” I cut Clara off.

Clara inhaled a deep breath, crossing her arms. “Well, then, you heard me right, Alpha, your Luna, Alice has been stealing money from the pack for a while now.”

I knew that I asked her, and she just gave me a simple answer. But getting that answer from Clara only made me believe one thing.

“How dare you tarnish

Clara My eyes were heavy, my entire body aching so bad, screaming for sleep. But I wouldn’t because I couldn’t. Not until I’ve found out how to alter the poison they’ve infected into our people. And now that Samuel was in a coma because of that poison, my mind was restless.

  • Secret Healer Luna   Chapter 93

Samuel“I’ll be fine,” was the last thing Clara mumbled, nodding, leaving me with no other options but to watch her leave. She’s born stubborn, and right now she’s gone too stubborn for me to handle. Hence I cannot just blame her because she’s not doing this for herself but rather for a greater good. What can I do if helping others has been her responsibility regardless if her life would be at stake. In order to keep myself occupied and somewhat do something great, I followed her instructions. Upon arriving at the area she said where the enemies had broken in, about a dozen of warriors were down. They all have huge and deep claw marks from their faces down to their lower abdomen. They were cut open to make sure none of these men would make it out alive. I’ve been in tons of wars already. Death isn’t and won’t ever be inevitable. But seeing how they died made my chest twitch with a bit of guilt and regret. The blood spilled on the ground looked fresh—as if it happened just seco

Clara “I’ll be fine,” I mumbled, nodding, hoping to convince Samuel to leave. I know the look he had on his face—the same look he had the time he needed to carry me in his arms with an arrow pierced on my chest.

Samuel “Yes. That’s everything we know that you need to know.” “We know this pack,” hearing those words from the Luna made my brows arched.

Clara“For the last time, Clara, I am telling you,” Samuel blew out a sigh as he continued to nag. “Just shift so I can hop on your back.” I blabber in return. Seeing I won’t listen to him anyway, he then shapeshifted, I hop onto his back, attaching a bag behind me that contains the potions and medicine I created. It was crystal clear to me that building an alliance with other packs and getting them to trust us is not going to be easy, that’s why I came prepared. No one would risk trusting us if we cannot give anything in return. After all, everyone wants something. If we can offer them a reasonable deal; such as providing for anything they want, given that we’ll be able to provide it in exchange for their help, then I don’t see any problem why Samuel’s plan wouldn’t work. “Come on. Let’s not waste any more second, shall we?” I groaned, looking down at Samuel who remained standing on his feet. “You need to promise me.” “Promise you what—”“That you will listen to me.” Clickin

Clara“Are you sure you’re fit to do all this?” “What am I doing?” I asked Samuel in return, getting my eyes off the boiling pot. Not hearing any response, I turned around to face him, removing a face mask that’s covering half of my face to make sure he’ll see how the corner of my lips was twitching. “I don’t know,” he shrugged, bitterly chuckling. “Experimenting?” “I’m developing the antidote,” I corrected him. “I just needed a couple more minutes and I’ll be done here. So, why don’t you wait for me outside instead? You’re kind of distracting me.” “Tsk, the exact words you said that day fooling me into jumping just for you to not jump afterwards.” My lips parted watching Samuel turn his back to walk away. “W…what?” I was in awe, hearing his words.Hence, I didn’t hear anything from him in return and the next thing I heard was the door banging loud as he shut it. “He’s mad,” I told myself, my eyes pinned onto the door Samuel just exited. My brain and my feet had been telling m
