Chapter 63.

McKenna's POV.

Crying is the act of shedding tears in response to an emotional state. But after a certain threshold, even the tears runs out. 

My tears had long run out, and yet another sun was on the verge of setting. Another sunset without Dixon's arms wrapped around me every night when we'd go to the balcony after dinner to watch the sun disappear on the horizon and how he'd pull me closer when we played games in the living room with Ian and Liam.

It had become their thing. A tradition that we never miss. I remember how Dixon would rush through meetings to make it back home in time before the sky is painted in various hues of purples and oranges. He'd kiss me softly as the last hue of orange disappeared, and I remember feeling like the happiest girl in the world.

He would have noticed her missing by now. I can't even imagine the pain and worry that he and every other person will
