~ Sebastian’s POV ~

I didn’t see Helen before I left for work this morning. That was unusual.

But then again, maybe it wasn’t.

The way her face dropped earlier when she asked about the meeting. I knew she felt disappointed. I saw it in her eyes. She was trying hard to keep her composure, but I could read the hurt beneath her silence.

Was she truly expecting to attend a professional meeting? With me? With the event planning team?

That's way above imagination.

I sighed as I leaned back in my office chair, running a hand over my jaw.

The meeting didn’t exist. I made it up. I just needed a reason to be with her, to have time alone with her without anyone raising an eyebrow. I didn’t know how else to justify it. I didn’t think it would mean that much to her.

But apparently, it did.

She looked like she felt... used. And in some ways, maybe she was. Not intentionally, but it doesn’t change the fact that I crossed a line with her yesterday.

I needed to make it up to her. Not just for the lie,

  • Secret affair with the billionaire    Order

~ Sebastian’s POV ~Mike returned with dozens of channel boxes in his hands, all stacked up like towered cups ready to collapse. The weight of them made his arms tremble slightly, and his breathing was uneven, but he wore a smug sort of smile like he had just carried the pride of the company in cardboard.“I confirmed from the branch head,” he began, dropping the boxes carefully beside the cabinet, “and she verified it’s a brand appreciation from them.”He finally settled into his seat across from me, dusting his palms together with that unbothered air of ‘case closed.’I narrowed my eyes, my stare like a blade slicing through smoke. “No formal mails?” I asked, my words short and cold, less of a question, more of a demand.Brand appreciation? Without a formal mail? From a corporate entity? In this world of protocols and paper trails? Absolutely not.“Miss Mena ordered the delivery to be made here,” he added, his voice lowering slightly, almost like he was careful not to trigger someth

  • Secret affair with the billionaire    My man!

~ Mena's POV ~“Mom, I'd love for my boyfriend to meet with you guys,” I said, trying to keep my voice steady even though my heart thudded like a drum in my chest. Her spoon froze halfway to her mouth. She paused mid-meal, eyes slowly lifting to meet mine. The look she gave me wasn’t harsh, but it was sharp enough to send a small chill down my spine. Her brows arched in surprise, and she stared at me like she needed a moment to process what I’d just said.I rushed to continue before doubt could creep into my own voice.“I’m definitely of age,” I said firmly, my voice bolder now, my eyes holding hers without blinking. “And I want him to meet you guys.”I couldn’t bear another second of suspense, so I glanced quickly at my dad. To my surprise, the corners of his mouth lifted. A small, knowing smile tugged at his lips, one of amusement, one that said he had seen this moment coming, maybe long before I ever admitted it.Meanwhile, Mom's face still carried a mixture of disbelief and that c

  • Secret affair with the billionaire    Concerns

~ Helen’s POV ~“You know, many times, I feel you and Miss Mena have a personal beef that makes her glare at you with so much wrath in her eyes,” Lisa said, her voice low, almost like a whisper sneaking out against her will. Her words settled into the air like fog, quiet, lingering, and difficult to ignore. I paused, holding my breath for a moment longer than necessary. A dull ache stirred beneath my ribs. The last thing I wanted this morning was to think of Mena again.Seeing her this morning, and having to listen to her piercing words is more than enough for one day.I’m out of her shadow, or at least trying to be. But somehow, she always manages to creep back in, like a shadow that elongates as the sun rises inescapable, always there.I let out a quiet breath and forced a smile that didn’t quite reach my eyes. “It’s nothing like that from me,” I lied, my voice carefully measured to hide the sting in my chest.Lisa cleared her throat softly, barely audible, but deliberate.I heard i

  • Secret affair with the billionaire    To my grey world

~ Helen's POV ~“Let’s see how much smile will be left on that face of yours.” Mena smirked, her voice laced with bitterness as she settled smugly back into her seat.I held her stare for half a second longer than necessary, letting the corners of my lips curve upward, not just a smile, but a quiet declaration of resilience.Hopefully, I’ll smile last. That’s all that matters.I turned back to my task, continuing with my cleaning, the faint smile still dancing on my lips like armor. It wasn’t for joy. It was a signal, a quiet message for her. She doesn't get to me anymore. Not like before. Not like the old days when her words used to dig deep into my spirit, tearing at my self-worth. Back when I would boil inside, fists clenched and heart racing with suppressed tears. But not anymore.I've outgrown her spears. Now, her sharp tongue is just noise in the background, like a fading echo in a hallway I’ve long walked past. Let her throw her verbal spears, let her spit her bitterness. I’ve

  • Secret affair with the billionaire    Pigs and peacocks

~ Helen’s POV ~All freshened up, I headed back to the mansion. The air was cool, but my body still pulsed with lingering heat from earlier. I entered from the back door, the one by the cleaning storage room. Routine took over, I grabbed the cleaning materials and stepped out, heading toward the stairs. Then I heard cutlery clinking faintly from the dining area. And just like that, his scent hit me.I froze for half a second. That cologne….the one I that wrapped my brain and senses in his comfort. I turned my head instinctively, and there he was.Sebastian.He sat at the long, polished table like a painting come to life. Dressed in the suit I had laid out for him earlier. Hair brushed back. Calm. Composed. Dangerous. My chest tightened at the sight. He hadn’t looked up yet, but I didn’t wait for him to. I couldn’t. My legs carried me swiftly up the stairs before I lost my nerve. The hallway felt longer than usual. My heart raced as I reached his room.Focus, Helen.I forced myself to

  • Secret affair with the billionaire    Mine again

~ Helen's POV ~What the hell just happened?I can barely breathe. My heart is racing like I just sprinted a mile uphill. My skin still tingles where his hands had been, where his lips had scorched me. I just had the fastest, rawest, most explosive intimacy of my life with Sebastian. The Sebastian. The man who walks like he owns the ground, talks like the world should listen, and touches like sin itself. And of course I let him.No I wanted him. Every inch of him.As I stepped out of his room, my legs wobbled beneath me. My thighs trembled with each step, a stark reminder of what had just happened. I could feel the wet heat between them—thick, warm, and unmistakably him. My skin was still flushed, still humming, still reeling from the way he owned my body just minutes ago. I felt swollen… stretched… completely undone. And completely satisfied.Every step I took down the hallway ignited the aching pulse between my legs. My cheeks burned red not with embarrassment, but with the lingerin
