Chapter 12: Pink Carnations

Brielle's POV

"Thank you for today. And well, for yesterday as well" Jonas said as we stopped in front of my apartment building.

"Thank you for accompanying me. Also, thank you for the albums. I promise to protect it at all cost and pass it on to my grandchildren and their grandchildren as my heirloom" I said.

Jonas laughed.

I was lowkey serious though.

Jonas sighed and stared at me silently for a moment.

"I'll be even more busy this next few months so I won't be seeing you for a while" he told me.

I nodded in understanding.

Of course I understand. He has work to deal with.

"I'm sure you will be so do take care of yourself despite your busy work schedule" I reminded.

Jonas nodded.

"Thank you. You should take care of yourself as well" he also reminded me.

I nodded.

"I will. I'll see you when I see you" I said as I got out his car.

Jonas chuckled and nodded.

"I guess" he said sounding a bit down. I gave him a smile to cheer him up.

"Fighting!" I said enthusiastically.
