Susan's POV
“Yes, that's me. And who are you and what do you want from me?” Angela responded in a suspicious tone. She was still trying to figure out the person behind the voice. The moment Paul introduced himself, Angela's tone changed. She suddenly became so excited and anxious. She sounded like she'd been waiting for that moment all her life. “I am willing to accept your offer. Can you please suggest a nice hotel for us to meet? I just got dressed,” Paul asked. He tried his best to sound convincing to avoid Angela from getting suspicious. “Sure! The address will be forwarded to your phone. I am not asking for too much. After the sex, all your problems will be over,” Angela reassured Paul and ended the call. Seconds later, Paul's phone beeped. It turned out to be a text from Angela describing the hotel of her choice. Attached to the test on W******p were some of her explicit photos, just to keep Paul turned out. Paul and I felt relieved, even when the mission was yet to be accomplished. “You were right after all. I shouldn't have doubted you before,” Paul confessed after he initially doubted my prowess. As we drove to the location, we kept rehearsing the lines in our heads to avoid making blunders that would alter our mission. Locating Ethan's Father's mansion wasn't a difficult task after all, even though I hadn't been there for a while. “Now that we are here, how do we get past the secretary without an official invitation? Remember, we don't have an appointment with Mr. Woods. After what happened last night in his mansion, we are the last people he wants to see right now,” I complained to Paul. I trusted him to come up with a perfect solution after exhausting mine. He rested his hands below his jawline for a while, trying to come up with something. Finally, he did after snapping his hands. “Come with me,” he said. “I got a plan. This will work out in our favor,” I expected him to spill the plans the same way I did with mine, but he refused. With a hint of doubt, I went with Paul to the company. We were about to sneak to the route that leads to Mr. Woods's office before the secretary caught us. She forced us into a halt. The only thing we wished was for the ground to swallow us. I was scared that she was going to call security to throw us out. After seeing how brave Paul was, I eradicated every atom of fear embedded inside of me and gestured to the secretary. “Why did you walk past me? Do you have an appointment with the CEO?” She questioned us. Her hands were already resting on the landline, waiting to tell us if we chose to act smart. “Don't you recognize us? I am Ethan's wife, the son of your CEO.” I introduced myself, while Paul did the same thing. I was hoping it would be enough to sneak us to Mr. Wood's office. “Of course, I know you,” the secretary said while keeping my hopes alive. “But that doesn't matter right now, does it? I was given strict orders, and I am not ready to lose my job.” She shattered my heart to shreds after the false hopes. I looked up to Paul for a way out after our initial plan failed. Just like me, Paul is more confused than I thought. “You two are wasting my time and I hate it. So I am going to ask you again; do you have an appointment with the CEO? If you don't, then you need to leave before I call the security,” She warned us for the second time. Seeing how agitated she had become, I signaled Paul to step aside while I handled the situation. “I guess I have got to call him myself. I don't understand why I need an appointment before seeing my Father-in-law,” I pretended to be upset while I brought out my phone. I moved a few steps backward from the secretary and pretended like I was on the phone with Me. Woods. While I feigned the telephone conversation, I had my vision focused on the secretary. Immediately after she left her position, I alerted Paul. “She's not on the seat now. Let's go quickly before she returns,” Paul understood the assignment. He was more alert than I was. Like thieves at night, Paul and I sneaked into Ethan's Father's office. Unfortunately for us, the secretary returned and ran after us. However, it was too late for her. Paul and I already found our way inside the office where we met with Mr. Woods. “I warned them not to come inside. They pretended to be gone only for them to sneak in after I left for the restroom,” The secretary explained in a weaker tone. Paul and I nearly had her sick. Nonetheless, we weren't bothered. We were just grateful to finally find our way inside the office. “Don't worry, Davina, I'll handle it,” Mr. Woods assured the secretary. Despite the assurance, she remained unmoved as fear enclosed her face. “Are you sure? I am sorry, sir. I could still walk them out of your office,” she begged. She was desperate for redemption. She had every reason to believe that Mr. Woods would still revisit the situation after our exit. “No, that won't be necessary. I'll sort this out. You can leave now,” Mr. Woods said. This time, it sounded more convincing and was enough to make her leave. “And you, what are two things in my company? If this is about Ethan, forget about it because I'm not paying attention to that rubbish.” Mr. Woods made it clear without giving us a chance to speak. “We are not here for Ethan. Rather, it's about Angela, your wife. There's something you need to know about her,” I uttered “You are here to talk about my wife?” Mr. Woods exclaimed in shock. His voice changed. He never expected the twist.Tony Woods POV“Are you sure you really want to do this, sir? It'll surely break your heart. I might decline the call if you want me to. You don't have to force yourself and do this," Paul asked me for clarity. He needed to be certain that I was making the right choice. It was a simple question, yet difficult to respond to. I wasn't even certain what I wanted anymore, even though I asked them for more. That one question from Paul shattered the thoughts in my head.I wanted to satisfy my curiosity quickly. At the same time, I would rather not have my heart broken.Devastated, I rested my head on the desk like a lost soup while making the deliberation within me.While trying to decide for myself, Paul's phone rang again. Without asking further questions, I knew it was Angela calling again.“Uncle, she's calling again. Do you really want me to answer the phone?” Paul asked me. My heart was beating faster. Inside, my butt was spitting fire like a dragon, as though I were on a hot
Tony Woods POV“What the hell are you doing, Susan? That wasn't the plan, and you know that. Why did you fuck deviate from what we discussed at home? Do I need to remind you of everything?” Paul berated Susan for making such a bold statement.“Oh, come on Paul. Cut me some slack! What do you mean that wasn't the plan? Have you forgotten why we came here? If anyone needs a reminder, it's definitely you because you're missing out on a lot. I didn't come this far to watch you confront your uncle. You certainly should have done that some other time,” Susan fired back at Paul.I watched them argue like kids, and it was starting to mess with my mental health. They didn't even consider that I was seated in the office.Angrily I yelled at them, “Can you all stop already? If you are here to argue like kids, you can as well leave. I didn't put my schedules on hold just to listen to your trash talks. Are we clear on that?”My yelling forced orderliness in the office as absolute stilln
Tony Woods POV“Yes, your wife, Mr. Woods. And you might want to pay attention to me to experience a longer life span. Kicking us out of your office might be detrimental to your existence.” Paul said to me. His utterances conveyed so much authority I hadn't witnessed before.I saw a different Paul.He didn't speak to me in that tone when he visited my mansion with Susan last night.I can't help but wonder what might have gotten into him.Hearing Paul speak made me more angry, and I didn't hesitate to yell at him. “Paul, one more word from you and I'll kick your ass. Haven't I warned you never to say a word?” Just like the last time, I thought yelling at Paul would make him panic and stop talking. However, I was wrong. Rather than sealing his lips for eternity, Paul went all out to confront me. His voice was so loud that it got the attention of my office assistant who showed up looking so worried. “Boss, I heard a scream from your office. I had to rush down here immediately. D

Susan's Point Of View “That's the shit I'm referring to," I gave him a high five out of excitement. My Joy knew no bounds. I could feel some butterflies in my belly as though I just won the lottery. “You should know your room already. Today has been hectic. Tomorrow promises are even bigger,” Paul said. He's finally come out of his state of confusion. As he was about to leave, my phone rang. I literally exhausted my strength. It took me a while to get to where the phone was. And when I grabbed the phone, I saw Ethan's name popped on my screen Instantly, I had a mood swing. When I thought I'd be going to bed with a happy soul, Ethan's unexpected call ruined the party. Paul said something and I failed to respond. That was the moment he knew something was wrong.“It's Ethan, right?” He returned to me.I tried to deny who the caller was, but it wasn't working.Paul already caught my secret, which made it difficult for me to deny it further. “Fine! It's Ethan, but I don't want
Susan's POV“Did you witness what just happened? Or am I imagining things that aren't real?” Paul asked me shortly after Angela's departure. I couldn't respond to his question immediately because I had divided attention. It was as though my eardrums were damaged. My body was with Paul, but my mind wasn't. I was lost in deep thought, trying to process what happened a while ago. “Hey, I am talking to you Susan,” Paul waved at me to bring my mind back to life. “Were you even listening to me? Why didn't you respond? You made it seem like I was talking to myself,” He snarled. I caressed my head to pretend like I was having migraines. “Oh, sorry. I didn't know you were talking to me. My attention was divided,” “I think we need to tell Ethan's Father about this. He needs to be aware of the beast he married as a wife. You were right about her. That bitch never loved my Uncle. She fucking married for his money. I am afraid she might hurt my uncle and take over his empire,” Paul f
