The fuck…? I couldn’t help myself as I walked around to look at his back. Sure enough, carved into his entire back was our family crest. It looked really fresh, too.

“When did this happen?” I knew my voice was thick with emotion, but I couldn’t help it.

“Early this morning.”

“How did you get here?” Ethan asked. He walked around to look at him in the eye. “Did you fly, drive….?”

“Flew part of the way, then drove. The guy said he could only go so far, and it was up to me to deliver the message.”

“The message being that Grace needed to go to her headquarters?” Vincent finally pulled his eyes away from his back. Pulling out his cell phone, he started shifting through it.

“Yes.”

“What did he do to get you to fulfill this?” Ethan asked. I saw him glancing over at Vincent, trying to figure out what he was doing.

“They have my family.” That got my attention away from the carving.

Oh my GAHHH now that’s two Dads that love their children so much … I know my Dad would do this and I would for my own kids too. But dang- hellooo their kids will miss them! And they will have grandkids … please don’t kill both their Dads :(
