Rif was trying not to laugh. “Thank you for that, Stella, and I wouldn’t call it a panic attack. I merely became unsteady on my feet.”

“You are afraid of flying?” Damon asked, also trying to hide his smile.

“Okay, first off, wolves are not supposed to be in the sky. Second, I wasn’t afraid of flying. It’s the five minutes I have to think about how my body is going to break you when I hit the ground.”
