Mason.

As the meeting proceeded, I found myself tapping on the table with my pen. Suddenly, my colleague Peter nudged me. I realised what I’d been doing and stopped. Apparently, it had got louder and everyone had turned to stare at me.

“I’m sorry, ladies and gentlemen. Please proceed.”

They all turned back to Jack Miller who was explaining something about the new AI we were training. I knew everything about it so didn’t have to pay attention. The meeting was mainly for the benefit of our partners who didn’t know much about the project.

I was feeling restless, my gut telling me that something was wrong. Everything in my life seemed perfect and I hadn’t missed any call so I was left feeling confused. To make it worse, the presentation was boring. It made me think of many other things that could be more interesting for example April Hartfield’s performances.
