Chapter 5

AUTHOR POV

Abigail got home, finding Damian already fast asleep in the living room so she just quietly got a blankie covering him with it, she went upstairs to her room fell on the bed and let her heavy eyelids shut themselves taking her to dreamland .

          In the early morning's, Damian was already up doing his daily workout routines, but this Time was different he didn't do it filled with rage, sadness nor anger but rather with happiness he was genuinely happy , he could hear the birds sing, feel the light morning breeze, hit his skin so gently he had goosebumps, the oxygen he breathe was just so pure, that's just  how happy  he was .

        Abigail woke up some hours later getting ready for work almost as instantly as she woke up, and also it was a Monday, what a trashy day to work, on getting down stairs breakfast was already served with Damian already helping himself with some, " please have a sit madam" said the butler said, " oh mr alfred you're back" Abigail said while taking her seat on the dining, " yes ma'am i am" the butler replied, " how was your time off" she asked, " it was exquisite madam" replied the butler.

            " Good morning Damian" Abigail said, " good morning dear, how did the outing with your friend go" replied Damian, " oh it went well, now let's eat and head to work shall we" replied Abigail. 

         They both had their breakfast and left for work.

            Over at the office Abigail quickly noticed she had only very little work to do , so she made up her mind to focus on the work to the fin so she can enjoy her free time to the brim. Over at Damian office, he was finding it a bit difficult to convince some clients, on a business deal but of course he wasn't giving up.

           It was almost 2: 30pm when Abigail finished her work , and opted to take a break but as she was about to leave her office her phone buzzed, she checked to see it was a text from someone but she didn't really seem to put her finger on who it was, until it hit her, "last night" she remembered, and from there she didn't leave her office again, her freetime now was chatting over the phone with Drew,this went for about an hour until Drew asked to have a coffee with Abigail if she was free, and well she was down for it since she was actually free, they agreed on a location which was a small Italian restaurant down some few blocks down the street from her work place. 

            Abigail left her office for her somewhat of a coffee date, when Drew texted her that he was already there, after some few minutes she arrived at the restaurant, she sat down with Drew, they both ordered latte's, and started having a conversation over it 

             " So miss Abigail I must say you do have very charming eyes, I might get lost in them" Drew said,

" oh don't flatter me that much dear" Abigail said,

" you would have to do better than that to get my attention in that direction you're heading to" she said,

" wow I love you already" Drew said,  Abigail gazed at him with a very stern look but he just kept smiling,

" i see you're not joking" she said,

" what, you thought I'll be scared of your look, look since last night I've not had my mind rest, i just kept seeing you, let me give you the attention you need, my trust and some passion" Drew said,

" wow, you're so fast, as you cousin alway says but i took that as a joke " she said,

" look I'm feeling uneasy here I'll just leave, it was nice having this coffee with you" Abigail said.

    While Abigail and Drew were busy with each other, Damian managed to come with an agreement with the CEO of the company he was wanting to close a deal with, to grab something to eat or a coffee and they agreed to meet at an Italian restaurant just some blocks away from Damian s company.

          As Abigail was about to leave the place she bumped into Damian, " oh I'm really sorry sir" she said while bolting outside,

"sir??, hey Abigail wait!!" Damian responded , but she already left and the person he came with, called his attention to business and he gazed for a moment at Drew, then had to go deal with his business matter's.

              Abigail went back to her office, " finally I'm in my zone" she thought to herself, she didn't want to think about Drew or Damian, she just wanted to be alone or with a fellow woman, so she did the next best thing a confused girls would do, she called up her best friend Hailey.

 " Hey girl what's up " Hailey answered,

" I'm in a triangle Hailey " Abigail replied sounding tense

" Tell me everything girl" Hailey said

Now to those of you who are wondering what a triangle is in this context, this is when someone is caught between two people who want him/her or is caught between wanting two people

" Look your cousin had a coffee and next thing I know he's asking me out on a date, telling me he likes me, then there's Damian" Abigail said

"Calm down girl, it's nothing too complicated just go out with both and choose the right one one at the end of the day, damn my cousin, he said he liked you but that kid is just too fast" Hailey replied

" You really think it's that easy" asked Abigail

" I know it's that easy, look you are the woman here okay, you make the rules"

" Ok, but you won't believe me, when I was leaving I bumped into Damian, and I think they noticed each other "

" Oh my God, we should definitely have like a get together, let me buy some popcorn and watch the man brawl between them go on" Hailey replied

" You know what, I will talk to you later " Abigail said.
