Kael only realized I was truly leaving him when I set off with the Frostfang envoys.

"Loria! I forbid you to leave!"

His anguished roars tore through the air. He tried to chase forward, but Father and the elders forced him down. All he could do was hurl desperate cries at my retreating figure.

"Loria, I'll bring you back! Wait for me!"
