Chapter 86

Wrapping herself with a towel she stepped out of the bathroom but halted in her tracks at the sight of the person sitting majestically on the three seater chair near the bed. Robert had his legs crossed over to the other and he had this blank look on his face, with his legs tapping on the floor which indicated impatience, Selena's heart picked a race. He was all dressed and she knew maybe he had gone to the office and back or he was yet to go.

"Good morning." She mumbled and he turned his attention to her.

"Good thing you are alive." he said with a blank look. "You took so much time in the bathroom, I had thought you had slipped knowing that you are a clumsy fellow." He mocked her.

Selena bit her lip and tried to suppress the anger boiling inside of her. He didn't even ask her how she was doing. She gets that she is just a piece of trash he can throw away any time but at least he should show a little empathy for what she had gone through these few days. It was all because of him.
