Walking back into my office Alex, and Austin, are waiting, looking at a map sprawled out across my desk.

“What’s going on?”

Alex looks up at me, then back to the map, before pointing to the eastern border.

“They came in from the East this time. Our patrols were able to get to them before they really got into the territory, but we weren’t expecting it.”

“What’s with the one that was caught?”

Alex gives a little chuckle, turning and, half sitting on my desk.
