***The choice of Iraq was simply because it was easier, for me, to use actual places, and names, when refering to the past. Especially since All of the 'current' places are, for the most part, real. Ashton POV What in the holy h3ll was that?! All I wanted was a meal to get to know her... HER... fack she is something else. Definitely a force to be reckoned with! I watched her, like the creep I am I guess, for a good 15 minutes. She was deep in conversation with a man that could be her father. Whatever the conversation they are having it seems as though she's getting reprimanded, and it appears as though, based on the exasperated look on the guys face, this is a common occurrence. I had walked over and introduced myself. Beta Callum explained that she was the oldest daughter to the Alpha, and he was pulled to an urgent matter so she was asked to come in his stead. After watching her, and looking at her face now, I can guarantee that she does not want to be here! Seeing her up close she can’t be more than 20, maybe that’s her issue? The age gap? The second she turned around and saw us her eyes went wide. She looked nervous, her eyes darted around the castle grounds almost like she was looking for an escape route. Ashton POV I have absolutely no interest in being here anymore. These meetings are pointless as I can’t think about anything other than Alaina, and Janus isn’t doing much better with keeping his mind off Tyche! I am currently in a meeting with the North American packs, trying to sort out alliances, and trade partners. For the most part the packs in North America own their own companies. Pack members generally work for them, but we often have humans working alongside us. These companies are what pay our bills, buy us food, and give the pack members their own money. My pack also lives in a very fertile are of the country, so we have acres of gardens, and greenhouses as our growing season is a little shorter than we need. Alaina POV He’s laughing about me punching another Alpha. He's impressed that I stood up for myself? I must be in the twilight zone because this is not how an Alpha acts.
