15: Mae

I stormed out of Omar's office angrily, almost bumping into somebody. It was the man who had informed me of Omar's plans. The man who I didn't believe.

"Did you sign it?" The man asked just when I was about to walk away from him.

"No," I whispered in an attempt to not get attention to myself.

"Good for you. Now run. Run and hide, and stay low for a while, things are going to be rough for you but good luck." The man wished me luck before going in the direction I was leaving from just now; Omar's office.

I didn't even know him well enough for him to be concerned over me but I guess he just didn't want to partake in the wrong thing and hence why he let me know of Omar's plans beforehand.

I got outside to the front of the building and surprisingly, the car that brought me was still waiting. I had forgotten about him and I still didn't have any cash on me to pay him with even after wasting his time.
