Serenity's POV From the second she stepped onto the stage, my heart rate increased. I knew I had nothing to fear any longer, but the instinct to retreat was still very much alive and well within me. I take a deep breath and lock my fingers together behind my back. 1... 2... 3... Serenity POV I had lived here my entire life and had rarely been outside of our territory. The few times that I could leave, was with my father, as he went to visit other Alpha’s for democratic visits.
