I stayed in my room for the past two days, and this vacation is slowing down time. I allowed Persephone to go with Effie and enjoy a water park close to the resort, another of Odin's projects called the Seven Seas Water Park. He wanted to match the Trident Resort.I didn't go because knowing everyone was going meant Seth would be there. This is a family vacation with the Reids plus friends. It would be more awkward between Seth and me if I were to go. And now that his brothers seem to misunderstand, they will tease him, and I don't want to add more oil to their jokes when I'm around. The last thing I want for Seth is to be embarrassed.Last night, Kendall sent me a confidential file on Persephone's DNA. I didn't get the chance to open it because of my emotional breakdown, so I used an excuse to stay behind and not be charmed by Effie's art of persuasion, which finally won over her.I am sitting on the couch and opening up my laptop. I open up my email and click on the latest message.

"Why do you keep staring at me?" "Here, Terry, take these," Lily hands me painkillers. I pop two in my mouth."Thanks," I smile weakly at her."Terry? Um...he should be in the restroom.""Who is Jo talking to?" "Sully Vonner! Get your fucking ass out here now!" I scream at the top of my lungs as it waves my anger and rage. I'm itching to cut the fucker in half and his men.The first door that opens, Sully steps out from the room on the second floor. I watch my brother in arms lift his head; his eyes are now dilated, and red veins pop out at the corner. His mouth filled with white foam. "What the fuck are you doing? You could have killed me." He bites out; he jumps up and down like a temper tantrum child. "Do you not want the little girl back? It's dark.Nothing but emptiness and loneliness.So dark is all my eyes could see. The only time is when bright white light casts its rays and blinds me as black silhouettes appear.There are no faces except menacing red eyes. Their bodies are the color of the darkroom. I couldn't tell what they were thinking."Grab her," says one in a husky, dark female tone, almost demonic.My whole body trembles in fear. I let out a cry, but no voice came out. It is as if I lost my ability to speak. Another dark figure follows the one with the red eyes that had ordered and dragged me out, unsure where they take me. The weaker I've become, the more I open my mouth to protest, forcing the voice within me to resurrect. I fought to break free, but his slender hands were tight around my waist like a heavy chain, unbreakable. I open my eyes, and the first thing I see is the ceiling. I gave a few blinks before my vision was clear. The room seems dark but not pitch black like in my dream. Waking up feels as if I went into a deep sleep. My whole body felt sore, and I couldn't move my body. I move my legs a bit, realizing they are not covered. I'm not wearing anything underneath except this long, oversized T-shirt. The movement had me stir, knowing that I was not alone. Someone next to me then moves the bed as an arm hugs my waist, a man's arm.I was about to move, but a soft snore was heard next to me. I wasn't sure where I was, but I remembered rescuing Persephone from Sully and passing out in Seth's arms. So, where am I?Panic rose, and my sense kicked in that I was possibly in a dangerous place.
