Arthur’s POV

“Why are you outside?”

Alicia didn’t need to turn to know who the voice belonged to. It was Andre. At least he had the decency to notice she was gone and came to find her. She sighed as she didn’t really wanna be found or matter of fact talk to anyone but she knew she couldn’t escape it all, she couldn’t escape what she had brought upon herself, she either faces it or she doesn’t but she’d prefer to face it like a grown woman.

“I needed some air.” Alicia answered

Andre stepped closer, looking up to the sky for a minute before turning back to her. “It’s a full moon.”

Alicia didn’t answer, she didn’t exactly want to engage in a conversation with him after what he had done so she just didn’t bother. “I’m heading back inside.” She said but was stopped before she could take another step.

“Stay,” Andre whispered, their eyes meeting and she felt that surge of want for him again. “I wanna talk to you.”
