As James hurried away, Willow, always quick to revel in others' misfortune, approached me with a smirk. "Little-angel," she sneered, "I'm pretty sure it's your last day in this house. Mrs. Oliver always finds a 'great solution' when she fires a housekeeper." Her laughter echoed in the hallway, adding to my anxiety.
